Den has been in love with strategy games for as long as he can remember, starting with the Heroes of Might and Magic series as a kid. Card games came around the middle school - Yu-Gi-Oh! and then Magic: The Gathering.
Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra has been his real breakthrough and he has been a coach, writer, and caster on the French scene for many years now. He now coaches aspiring pro players and writes various articles on these games.
Disruption is the name of the game in Marvel Snap, but which type exactly?
Annihilus was the king heading into the patch, but new disruptive archetypes synergies are emerging and slowly taking over. The meta is a mess, but we love it!
This OTA is bringing some welcome buffs (and one important nerf) to shake up the meta in Marvel Snap. Will it be enough to make an impact? Read den's thoughts and check out new decks here!
Working with a teammate can be a great asset to work on communication and perspectives. In this session, we hold a team tournament to see how they fare in our challenge, based on the current archetypes of the metagame.
Little by little the flexible decks are returning to domination in Conquest. This game mode rewards good reads and tech cards, though, so it's no surprise. See the best reactive decks and den's thoughts about each one here!
The ever-shifting meta of Marvel Snap has taken a trip down Living Tribunal Lane. The best decks this week are proactive and points focused, but will that last into next week? Find out what the best decks are and den's thoughts here!
Wondering what the best cards are before and during Series (Pool) 1? Take a look at our curated tier list and see how your favourites match up in this latest update!
Compared to the Ranked mode, Conquest features much more diversity when it comes to the dominant decks. Indeed, those who seemed unable to win multiple cubes per game can now chip at their opponent's health round after round. This makes a huge difference for multiple archetypes that you can see here!
Changing a card in your deck has a huge impact when a deck has only 12 cards such as curve, matchups, and stability. In this session, we take a look at how to keep a cohesive deck while still innovating with your favorite archetype.
The latest patch removed Alioth and Zabu from the competitive landscape, impacting a large variety of archetypes in the process. We are now in a meta where your points potential is your biggest asset. If you're curious which decks are at the top, you can find them here!
Wandering what the best cards of Series 3 are and what to prioritize from your free Seasonal Series 3 card? In this latest update, we break down the staples and the duds of Marvel Snap's final and deepest pool of cards!
Our most up to date best competitive Marvel Snap decks and archetypes you can build with only cards up to Series (Pool) 3, without Series 4 or 5 cards!
We've had great patches in the past. We've had plenty of mediocre ones, too. But have we ever had a "bad" balance update? Read den's thoughts here, and check out the best decks to play too!
An OTA at the start of this new season has led to the return of some old faces at the top of the Marvel Snap meta! Plus, with a new archetype in the game, there are plenty of fresh and exciting things to try. Check out the best decks here!
I tend to prefer to focus on the fundamentals when it comes to teaching card games. However, having fun and learning through trial and error is also part of the process. This is exactly what this session is about, testing decks after a balance change, and hopefully winning cubes doing so.
Another OTA, and another attempt at toning down Thanos and Discard. I doubt the change to Miek will do anything to Discard, but could this be it for the Mad Titan?
In a lot of ways, Baron Zemo is different from the Season Pass cards we usually get. Does that make it good enough to compete with the best decks of the meta? Read den's thoughts and look at some new decks here!
How do we change our perspective, and consider our opponent's point of view when the situation cannot be solved with only the information we have available to ourselves? We do our best to learn how in this Team Coaching Session!
This week, Conquest is... not very different from the Ladder, with one notable exception. It seems the Marvel Snap community has finally found Thanos's weakness! Check out the list here!
It only took a week for Thanos to come back and claim the top spot in the Marvel Snap meta once again. There isn't as much of a gap with other Tier 1 decks, but is there anything the Mad Titan can't resist?
Thanos took a bullet in the last OTA, but it remains a solid pick in Conquest thanks to its excellent flexibility. Which other decks are great to run the gauntlet this week? Let's explore!
The balance update toned down Thanos, giving more room for other decks to emerge. Yet, it seems like Destroy took most of that available space, creating a three-headed monster impossible to counter. In this Team Coaching Session, we give a few ideas a shot, and maybe beat that three-headed monster!
There might not be as many changes as we'd hope, but the OTA still shook up the meta. In particular, Thanos isn't the absolute juggernaut it used to be. Discard, however, remains at the top. Are there already new decks to challenge it? Let's explore!
The reign of Thanos is coming to an end (again)! Will Discard also follow suit? It's hard to know for sure, but a lot of buffs to a very specific synergy might be enough to completely change the meta. If you're curious what to play after the changes, check out these decks from den!
As expected, Mockingbird made Thanos a Meta Titan as well as a Mad Titan. Only Discard is able to put up a fight against it. Is the meta doomed to be ruled by Thanos yet again, or are some archetypes ready to fight back?
Are you Team Avengers or Team X-Men? During the next week, pick one and get rewarded with extra power, or try to build a deck with both teams included for maximum value!
The return of Elsa Bloodstone is on the horizon, Discard gets even stronger, and Mockingbird has more support than we imagined. This patch was already stacked, and a change to Leech makes it even harder to predict what will happen! The meta is definitely about to change, but will it be better or worse?
Hope Summers has been a force to be reckoned with so far in the new season. She shows once again how strong extra energy can be in Marvel Snap. The new card is clearly the biggest difference compared to our last report, but Discard and Thanos aren't giving up their places easily. Who will take home the early season crown?
The next Season Pass card has all the tools to be a powerhouse. At least, that's what den believes. Do you also have high Hope (Summers) for this card? If you're on the fence, check out these decks to try the new card in on Day 1!
Here's a rundown on the new cards joining Marvel Snap during the March 2024 season, Avengers vs. X-Men! Are they worth saving up for? We review all the cards and draft their potential decks to help you make informed decisions!

The OTA managed to reshuffle the cards heading into the end of the Black Order season. However, it still seems like Thanos and Hela have the best cards in their hands. Why? Find out with this week's Meta Tier List!
With nerfs that hit every major deck (and a few very interesting buffs), this OTA balance update is sure to make a big splash! Check out the changes and some post-OTA decks to play here.
