With both a card balance update and a new card, especially when that one looks as strong as Mockingbird, are a deadly combo to shake up the metagame. Then, we decided to move up our usual coaching session in order to meet up on patch night, and discuss all the changes.
In the theory part, we mapped out the implications of each of today’s events, trying to figure out which one were changing the fortune of their deck, alongside if they were considerable in other strategies.
Then, we got to testing some current powerhouses, such as Loki, Thanos or Discard, and some more creative ideas as well:

This was one of my favorite sessions of all time, as we were all firing on all cylinders, throwing ideas left and right. If you’d like to join us, you just have to be a Premium member on this very website, and then coaching is free. We have a couple of regulars which liven up the sessions, but we are always happy to welcome new people, and help them reach their goal.
