Spider-Man Brand New Day is the Season Pass card joining Marvel Snap for the July 2026 Season, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It is a 1-Cost, 2-Power card that reads:
Moveable twice. After this moves to a location, give one of your other cards there +1 Power. (even unrevealed ones)

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Season Pass cards can only be obtained through purchasing the Season Pass they are attached to when they release. At the end of their season, Season Pass cards become Series 5, and can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as part of the daily rotation. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack during the season following their release.
Synergies
Being a 1-cost in Marvel Snap is riskier than any other cost due to Killmonger or Elektra. These two are flexible enough to be added to most synergies if destroying 1-cost card was the way to win more cubes.
The new season pass card avoids a large part of that problem, as except for the 2 power attached to him, he will grant the rest to other cards:

These three immediately come to mind when one thinks about buffing cards and moving all over the place. In that strategy, the new season pass card makes a ton of sense. Indeed, it can just sit on the board until we play either Multiple Man or Human Torch, and move to their location once we play them, since we can buff unrevealed cards.
Compared to Agony or Hulkbuster, Spider-Man Brand New Day is much more flexible. First, it doesn’t tip our opponent as to the location we’ll play our target. They know it won’t be where the 1-cost is, but that leaves two possible landing spots, while Agony leaves no surprise.
Then, Spider-Man Brand New Day can be played before our target and wait for it to come, while Hulkbuster needs to be played on that same location.
Last, even if the new 1-cost can only move twice on its own, it can keep distributing buffs if we move it through other abilities. As such, while Agony and Hulkbuster are one time buffs, there is virtually no limit to Spider-Man Brand New Day‘s ability in a move deck:

Obviously, we would rather reserve the likes of Iron Fist or Doctor Strange to buff our scaling cards. Yet, the abilities allowing us to move multiple cards at once will now grant +1 power through Spider-Man Brand New Day.
Let’s take a look outside the move synergy now, since buffing cards is good in a multitude of decks.
I could discuss the Maverick, Captain Carter and such cards. However, I want to focus on the cards with a huge upside when they win their location instead:

Playing Spider-Man Brand New Day on turn one is now a great setup to these cards, just like Nightcrawler is already. The difference is that the new season pass card can move once more, either to follow Viv Vision to another location, or go support some other card once Iron Patriot won its location.
Those pairing allow Spider-Man Brand New Day to exist outside the move synergy, and become an all around solid 1-cost, rather than a great synergistic option.
The Verdict: Should You Get Spider-Man Brand New Day?
Spider-Man Brand New Day is a [1/4] able to move twice before we factor in how those buffs will be used, or the possibility to move the latest season pass post its own ability.
Early on, I expect the Move synergy to be the focus of the season. Yet, even if Mercury or Scream come to ruin the party, I expect Spider-Man Brand New Day to be able to bounce back to other, more flexible decks.
