Spider-Man Brand New Day Performance

Immediately a new staple in most Move archetypes, Spider-Man Brand New Day is also expanding its services to flexible archetypes looking for solid 1-cost cards. In a couple, such as Supergiant Rocks or Zombie Galacti, the season pass already kicked Nightcrawler out of the list to take its spot.
It is only week 1 and bots are around to help cards look good. They are particularly oblivious to Move decks, who can purposefully stack a location to trigger a snap, and then reposition their points on turn 6. Still, Move has been a fantastic synergy for at least the past 6 months, so except for Scream, Mercury or upcoming nerfs, the future is bright for Spider-Man Brand New Day.
Post-Release Score:
Aunt May Performance

Aunt May is a niche card carried by her connection to the Move synergy. Indeed, the same card probably wouldn’t find as much success in Destroy or Discard, simply because they aren’t as dominant as Move.
Even within a dominant synergy, things aren’t looking fantastic for Aunt May. First, she isn’t part of the best performing Move deck, Lockdown Move. She did push a new archetype built around all the flexible move cards. However, the best list for that one is still up in the air, and so far lacks disruptive tools to come back from behind when the draws don’t align early on.
Then, the card looks tied to one archetype only, while other 2-costs in the synergy, such as Sam Wilson Captain America or Jeff the Baby Dolphin!?, have the ability to serve as standalone in other decks.
Overall, Aunt May appears as a good, yet very limited card.

Post-OTA Bonus Challenge Decks
Overall, the season pass card is off to a much better start than the series 5 release. Indeed, Aunt May will always be featured alongside Spider-Man Brand New Day while the 1-cost has quickly become a staple in all Move decks, alongside a solid 1-cost standalone.
As a result, the best way to complete Aunt May’s missions probably is to slot it in a good deck with Spider-Man Brand New Day already included.
