You can’t play cards alone, there is always another human involved, which is what makes it interesting, as both decks, but also points of view collide. In this session, we do our best to change our perspective, and consider our opponent’s point of view when the situation cannot be solved with only the information we have available to ourselves!
There are a ton of factors to account for when picking our next move, and we often consider our own perspective alongside the information available. However, we tend to forget our opponent has a different view on the game, such as the cards we might be holding in our hand, or even certain cards they think we might play in our deck.
In this long session, I tried to challenge everyone’s perspective and change their mind on a play, pushing them to consider as much information as possible. Watching replay is a core part of becoming a better player, so it was a long overdue to have a big one in the premium coaching sessions.
