Best Marvel Snap Decks – Decks in the Top 10 Infinite Leaderboard

Check out the best Marvel Snap decks in this column before they become popular in the meta! There are a lot of awesome decks waiting to be discovered that can take your opponent's Cubes by surprise!

Hello everyone and welcome to Best Marvel Snap Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite decks this week. In addition to the podcast, I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the internet (ahem X and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.

Today, we’re doing something a little bit different. I have a whole bunch of decks that have reached Top 10 on the Infinite Leaderboard, including the #1 deck. These have proven themselves at the highest levels of competition!

Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!

#1 Deck On Infinite Ladder

FAK Crazy has been dominating the number one spot on the Infinite leaderboard for about two weeks now with his Thanos Hela list! Can anything topple the Mad, Crazy Titan?

Deck Thoughts

Everyone keep saying Thanos is dead, but FAK Crazy dominated with this in the Johnson Cup in February, was #1 in all of March with this, and is currently dominating April.

The list’s theory is simple: Thanos wants to ramp. In order to accomplish this, you have both Corvus Glaive and Hope Summers. The worst case for these is that you can ramp into an early [6/10], but you also have Mockingbird and plenty of other strong 6-Cost cards to play. If any of them are discarded, Hela is there to bring them back. Between Hela, Red Hulk, and Blob, you should have the biggest things, and so this is #1.

You can replace Blob or Red Hulk with Cull Obsidian or Crossbones. Jeff can be Psylocke and Mobius can be Caiera or Armor. The rest is required.

Deck Thoughts

Tanjo sits near the top of the leaderboard every season. He plays many things, but he has consistently returned to Loki since he’s one of the top Loki players in the world.

This deck takes advantage of two recent OTA buffs—one to Angela and one to Elsa Bloodstone. It combines those cards with Kitty Pryde for a powerful engine. Then the deck is filled with the traditional Loki mainstays of Cable, Agent Coulson, Quinjet, and Snowguard.

The deck finishes up with tech—Cosmo and Shang-Chi in this case—and cheap power in Mockingbird. Loki is a deck that pays you dividends for knowing matchups, when to play the card Loki, and which patterns to prioritize. When you get all that down, it can really beat anything.

Jeff is here for flexibility, and, as such, can be Nightcrawler. Elsa and Kitty are core to the deck. Snowguard can be Maria Hill, and Mockingbird is okay as Devil Dinosaur.

Deck Thoughts

Sizer, a former #1 player for the December season, got up to Rank #3 with this very different Loki list.

This list foregoes anything fancy for running basically all the tech it can with the Loki package. Cosmo shuts off major meta players like Silver Surfer or, if timed well with Juggernaut, Hela. Devil Dinosaur is still among the biggest cards in the game, and it retains a seriously powerful synergy with cards Loki wants like Snowguard, Agent Coulson, and Cable.

And there’s oh, so much tech. Even past Cosmo, there’s Red Guardian for small problems and Shang-Chi for big ones, along with Mobius M. Mobius to try to ensure that you can cheat energy while the opponent cannot.

Snowguard can, again, be Maria Hill. Luke Cage, Rogue, or Shadow King can replace Coulson and Red Guardian. That makes this one powerful deck that anyone with Loki should be able to grab and play!

Deck Thoughts

Fantastic Twitch streamer Spyro hit Top 10 with this Negative Ongoing deck.

This deck is an evolution of the Hela Enjoyer Ongoing Negatve list that is basically able to do the classic Iron Man, Onslaught, The Living Tribunal combo to win or cheat out wins with Mister Negative‘s free insane power. It also features Super-Skrull as an extra bit of tech. It’s counterable, sure, but if the opponent doesn’t have that counter and it goes off, it’s also unbeatable.

Deck Thoughts

Braude, the person behind the famed Marvel Snap News, has been climbing within the Top 5-10 all season looking for that elusive first place.

This deck may not be the strongest or most powerful anymore, but it is one of the most consistent. Kitty Pryde easily gets big and generates extra power with Angela and extra energy with Hope Summers as she does it. This helps Red Hulk get potentially doubled, which would almost definitely be the biggest thing. Copy that with Taskmaster and profit.

You need Kitty, Hope, and Red Hulk here, but the rest is negotiable. Jeff and Elsa work just fine as Hulkbuster and Forge. You can also make a case for Caiera to protect Kitty and Red Hulk.

Rutmus has been hanging around the Top 5 with this awesome Darkhawk build.

Darkhawk is in a good place right now—the Rocks can really mess up a lot of opponents’ combo plans, and Annihilus is the strongest card package in Marvel Snap right now. The rest of the deck is tied up in tech cards specifically for the Hela match up; a final turn Cosmo and Juggernaut give you a 58% chance of shutting down Hela if you have priority, and those two plus Shadow King can also shut off Silver Surfer shenanigans.

You need Darkhawk and Annihilus for this list, but both Nebula and Jeff are exceedingly replaceable here. Jeff can be any good tempo 2-Cost from Scarlet Witch to Medusa. Nightcrawler replaces Nebula quite well, as does Iceman.

Deck Thoughts

Batman99 hangs out at the top of the leaderboard every season and has been around top 5 with this Silk-based list. This one was just sent to me, and I haven’t done a video on it yet.

Silky Smooth had its time as the best deck in the game, but apparently with the buff to Angela, it can still compete at the highest levels… without Silk or Elsa Bloodstone. Kitty Pryde with Hope Summers allows you to play both Magneto and Red Hulk. There’s tempo all along the way there, too, as Gladiator is the biggest 3-Cost card and Captain Marvel puts you over the top wherever you need it most.

At the end of the day, this deck is about slamming points while being unpredictable in where you’re really competing thanks to Vision, Captain Marvel, and Kitty Pryde. Plus, with the tempo this deck provides, it’s nearly impossible to replace most of the cards here… except for Mobius M. Mobius and Jeff. Mobius can be Luke Cage or Elsa Bloodstone, while Jeff is fine as a good tempo card like Medusa.

Deck Thoughts

BBAK was #1 with this deck in February and top 5 in March. He’s been in the top 5 with it this season, too, but as of this writing, a different player (the great YoWoodyMJ) maintained a #2 placement with this deck.

The deck is simple. It’s mostly a Negative and Snap or run list, but with a bit of extra space for the Wong, Black Panther, Arnim Zola combo. There’s a surprising amount of play to the deck, as it manages to steal games it shouldn’t with Ravonna Renslayer allowing for cheap plays of cards like Arnim Zola and Knull (especially if you can find a nice early Shang-Chi target).

This deck is crazy cheap, too, with Knull and Ravonna Renslayer—both Series 4 cards—as the only requirements!

As I finished this column, Woody broke into #1 with a brand new deck.

This one uses Supergiant to hide a way to win the game. That way could be Negasonic Teenage Warhead, or it could be an Annihilus revealed after a game-ending Sentry, or even a Ronan the Accuser that can be followed by Maximus.

All of these plays are made deadly and terrifying by Daredevil—you get to know what the opponent does, but the opponent doesn’t know what you did. Outside of that, there’s some basic tech and tempo: Red Guardian and Cosmo stop opponents while Gladiator, Maximus, Demon provide tempo.

Supergiant, Gladiator, and Annihilus are needed. Jeff can be Medusa or Nightcrawler. Red Guardian can be Mobius M. Mobius or Rogue.
