Best Marvel Snap Decks – #1 Post Infinite Deck Isn’t Thanos!?

Check out the best Marvel Snap decks in this column before they become popular in the meta! There are a lot of awesome decks waiting to be discovered that can take your opponent's Cubes by surprise!

Hello everyone and welcome to Best Marvel Snap Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite decks this week. In addition to the podcast, I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the internet (ahem X and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.

Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!

#1 Deck On Infinite Ladder

Okay, Thanos is still broken and still fighting for the number one spot, but how many weeks in a row can we talk about Thanos with just one or two card changes? The deck is great, but, right now, the number one spot on the Infinite Leaderboard is a dogfight between Thanos and this Phoenix Force decklist.

Deck Thoughts

PogiBonsi is an Italian player, one of the very best in the very best meta in Marvel Snap.

This deck isn’t complicated. You either make a Phoenix out of Multiple Man or Human Torch (or, rarely, Nico Minoru). If it’s Multiple Man, you move it a lot until you win. If it’s Torch, you move it a lot until you use Arnim Zola. You can also win by using Shuri on Nimrod and then eating it twice. That’s at least 24 power from the Nimrods plus whatever destroyed them. There’s a thousand tricks to the list, but that’s the gist. Go forth and steal cubes!

While Nimrod and The Phoenix Force are absolute requirements, you can try Iron Fist for Ghost-Spider.

What The Best Players Are Playing

The best players in Marvel Snap never stop brewing. These cards were poo-pooed at or on their release, but they have all found homes in the hands of the best players in the game.

Deck Thoughts

Dott.Geo is another Italian player and my pick for the current single-best player in the world. He just started streaming, too!

This deck can win in an absolute ton of ways. You can do War Machine shenanigans with Professor X or The Infinuat. You can do Magik shenanigans and go with She-Hulk and The Infinaut. You can play Professor X on Turn 4 with Ravonna Renslayer to steal a lane (Sunspot and Nebula help), then pass into She-Hulk and Cannonball for an auto-win lane. There’s no shortage of ways to get the win, but the spiciest is Pixie with all the 1-Costs in the deck. A cheap Infinaut, Blob, or She-Hulk is just unfair. Try it and see for yourself!

Blob is needed (Ravonna Renslayer combo), as are War Machine and Ravonna. You can try Aero for Cannonball, but it’s significantly worse. Nebula can be Nightcrawler. I LOVE Pixie in this, but she’s a luxury and can be replaced with Hope Summers, Mobius M. Mobius, or even Armor.

Deck Thoughts

Our friend Gnome_Plays has been sitting in the top half of the top 100 of the Infinite Leaderboard all season, and this is his most creative deck.

The fun of this one is that Cannonball and Grand Master together can easily win two lanes against decks that fill the board. Ravonna Renslayer allows that play on Turn 6, and the Goblins and Debrii help you make sure the opponent’s side is full. You don’t need to combo off to win, though; both the Annihilus package and Professor X add a ton of power. Ravonna has so many silly strong targets that she alone is nearly a Snap condition!

The only replaceable high series card here is Nebula, which can be changed for Nightcrawler. Everything else is pivotal.

Deck Thoughts

Owi is a French player who is currently hanging out in the Top 10.

Black Swan has been one of the weaker Season Pass cards, but the buffs for Captain Marvel and Rocket Raccoon have given her a Cerebro 5 home. The early game is just playing regular cards, but a Turn 5 Swan allows for Rocket, Titania, Martyr, and Ant Man to all be played with either Doctor Doom or Cerebro and another 3-Cost. It’s gross.

Martyr isn’t really needed here. With two move cards, you can run Miles Morales or, with Enchantress, try Lizard. Black Swan is the whole deck!

Brew Kings

Many more Top 100 players are more known for their brewing than their likewise stellar play. Here’s what they’ve come up with.

Deck Thoughts

Ika, a player from Georgia (the country, not the US state), is an absolutely brilliant deck artisan. Everything he makes is slightly off-meta, and the brews he shares really work.

Ravonna Renslayer synergizing so well with War Machine was unexpected, but Professor X works with both of them while the inclusion of The Infinaut and Ebony Maw adds Blob to the list. Hope Summers gives you the required ramp, Jeff the Baby Land Shark supports Professor X, and Crossbones and Cull Obsidian are both huge (and really benefit from War Machine). All of this leads to the real spice here: Taskmaster. Task is great for copying Blob on Turn 6, and, with Ravonna, it can be played with a 2-Cost card. That’s a ton of power and even more ways to win.

Nebula can be Nightcrawler here, and Cull Obsidian can be Drax. The rest are important. Please get Hope Summers before its too late!

Deck Thoughts

Don’t let the meme name fool you – KM Worst is an absolutely top-notch Marvel Snap player.

The innovation here is basically going all in on Move without bothering with bounce. Dagger, Vulture, and Human Torch all get big enough to not need multiple uses if you plan well. Said planning is extremely difficult – this is the hardest deck in the game to play, after all – but, when done well, this can beat anything. An opponent can’t play around both Alioth and Heimdall. Do your math and choose well.

Nico Minoru is the only card here that is at all replaceable, and the replacement is either Jeff the Baby Land Shark or Nightcrawler.

Deck Thoughts

Owlgod is the Korean player we have to thank for the rise of the original Silk Move decks, and after a break, he’s back to break the meta.

This deck climbed from rank 43,000+ to the top 100 in only a few days. The beauty of this list lies in its simplicity. You can win by going with Hope Summers into Cyclops, then passing into She-Hulk and Hulk for an insurmountable lead, or you can do Cyclops and good-tempo 1-drops before winning with Cannonball and She-Hulk (without Hope). Either one works, and opponents have a hard time dealing with the plethora of questions this deck asks of opponents.

Most of the high series cards here are a requirement, though Jeff can be Nightcrawler or Nebula.

Deck Thoughts

Gregor2424 is a phenomenal streamer who should be much bigger than they are.

This deck is brilliant. It’s main goal is to get Silver Surfer or Hazmat on Wong and then Odin it. You can use Absorbing Man in a similar way, and Ironheart does a pretty good Surfer impression. Your cards get huge and the opponent’s cards melt away to nothing. When it goes off, you’ll find yourself with like 30 – 40 power per lane and opponents in the single digits. Fair warning though: Mystique on Wong is fine, but the real hope is Mystique on Sera after Magik. Enjoy the huge numbers!

You need Sebastian Shaw for this – he gets insanely huge. The rest is Series 3 or below.
