Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. The Firelord update of the last OTA was completely and utterly ignored by almost everyone. Sure, the card was fine, but a Phoenix Force for one specific cost seemed uninspiring, and one extra power hardly felt like it mattered. The one extra power ended up not being a big deal, but it did remind one particular player that Firelord exists.

Jeeeeet13 is the best Phoenix Force player in the world. In fact, it’s the only card he plays, not just in Multiple Man or Nimrod shells, but with everything, in every deck. Often, this is just a quick package with Misery for extra On Reveal triggers, but he’s finished top 20 multiple times and as high as Rank 2 with his pet card.

Firelord going back into Phoenix Force helps the consistency of one of the card’s most powerful play patterns – using it with Cassandra Nova and Sage. Those two three cost cards, coincidentally costing exactly what Firelord bring back, are insane when triggered multiple times… and this deck has so many ways to trigger them over and over. In addition to Firelord and Phoenix Force, we have Firehair – we love FIRE! – to get triggers as they’re destroyed. Misery gives an extra trigger, and, of course Elixir brings another back for another trigger. Shadow King was keeping this in check, but with that nerfed…
