I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite decks this week. In addition to the podcast, I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the internet (ahem X and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.

Deck Thoughts

Woody has been in the top 5 all season, and while other versions featuring Punisher have been more popular, this version, dominating the top of the ladder is my favorite.

Built around Jean Grey, this is a deck built to disrupt. Jean and Cosmo alone win many matches, but the choice of when and where to play Man-Thing, often a [4/11], and U.S. Agent, a [2/11], as well, just wins games. Of course, there are plenty of other tricks here, too. Jean makes Mojo almost always a [2/8], and Spectrum can pump your entire board. There’s just little decks can do to deal with this much disruption so long as you see Luke Cage.

Agent can be Punisher in this deck, or Lizard. Same for Jeff, who can also be replaced with Nightcrawler. Jean is required, but Iron Lad is really great as Omega Red.

Deck Thoughts

Butt maintained his place in the Top 5 this week, notably hitting #1 with this incredible build.

At first glance, this is just another Annihilus junk deck, but it does so much more, putting out truly impressive power while not sacrificing the disruption of the Annihilus control. That power comes from adding Mockingbird and Death, both cards that synergize with putting low power off your board and using it to control the game.

One of the best parts of this deck is that all the different cards come together to counter opposing junk decks while also countering the heck out of Loki. There’s a ton of different packages, so unless Loki is lucky right on 4, it has a hard time pulling off the deck’s combos, while all the deck’s junk combos also have the destroy counters to win the mirror.

Unfortunately, the high series cards are all requirements for this one.

Deck Thoughts

rsBerry has been hanging around the Top 5 to 10 of the Infinite Leaderboard all season with a variety of really level builds.

This deck operates on a lot of the same axes as the last one, but instead of using Death and a destroy package, it uses Black Bolt and Stature as its cheap endgame power. Because of this, the support cards are different. Storm helps lock up a lane and auto-wins certain matches with Negasonic Teenage Warhead or Sentry, while without Death, Valkyrie has awesome synergy with the Void, both the Hood and the Demon, and a discounted Stature.

Mockingbird and Annihilus cannot be replaced, but Jeff can be Nightcrawler or Nebula.

DottGeo, a member of the Italian meta, reaffirmed his place as the best player in Marvel Snap.

This is a classic Bounce deck with no cards. I have no idea if it’s eta or if Geo is just that good. It has three major win conditions, and really wants to play for two lanes. The first win condition is Iron Man. He’s a lane winner alone. The other way to win a lane is usually multiple Demons or Hit Monkey. Bishop, Elsa Bloodstone, and Angela help, but they are largely set up for the turn 5 and 6 plays.

Nico Minoru is the only replaceable high series card here, and could be Iceman.

MyleeeC Loki

Deck Thoughts

Myleee is an excellent top 20 player in Marvel Snap who finished second with Loki Mill.

This deck combines the classic Loki cards – Snowguard, Quinjet, Cable, and Agent Coulson – with the mill package of Baron Zemo and Gladiator, along with Cable and Mockingbird who fit both builds. The rest of the deck is filled out with tech cards. Both the mill and Loki let you play with your opponent’s cards more efficiently, so this is a thing of beauty.

Snowguard can be Maria Hill here, while Red Guardian is fine as Rogue. Jeff the Baby Land Shark can be Valentina or Cable. The other cards are core to the deck.

Comiz is another Italian player and is the reigning Marvel Snap World Champion. He was defeated in the top 4 by Geo.

Another Loki list, this one is more traditional, utilizing the Loki package (as noted above) with the more traditional bounce package of Elsa, Angela, and Kitty Pryde. As always, tech cards tie the Loki decks together, but this deck goes a different way with its tech choices in using Jean Grey and Cosmo. This is a way, combo, particularly Hela, is an easy match.

Jean and Jeff are both replaceable. Red Guardian or Rogue can replace Jean while Nightcrawler can replace Jeff.

DoctorJoint finished in the top 4, losing to MyleeeC while using this take on Bradcifer’s Toxic Sera.

This deck is just mean in Conquest. It has a ton of ways to get power off of the opponent with U.S. Agent, Man-Thing, Red Guardian, and Hazmat. All of these cards benefit from going second, and so work great with Ghost. Also benefitting from Ghost are tech cards Enchantress and Shang-Chi. As with the Woody deck, Luke ties it together, protecting your cards while keeping Typhoid Mary and Lizard valuable.

Baron Zemo can be Gladiator or Rogue or even Cosmo. The other high-series cards are needed.

Shuri Enjoyer is a Brazilian player who often dominates in Marvel Snap, finishing at the top of tournaments and leaderboards.

Well, we knew this would be the best home for Valentina. In order to make the card work, Luke Cage becomes the tech card of choice, and a good one with all the junk around and certain locations being easily won by his ability. With Luke being important for the deck, Hope Summers makes sense as a way to get enough energy to play everything. The rest is fairly stock here.

Since we’ve talked replaceables for Loki several times, here’s an alternative build for Valentina from our own SafetyBlade:

Dubos is just an awesome player in the top 100 who also made the top 16 of the Grand Prix.

This deck has a Loki shell, but it’s not the main plan. The main plan is disruption with White Widow or powerful cards from Valentina to lead into a Professor X + Cannonball play. When you get that combo off, the game is basically won, but the opponent can’t just plan against that because the random card generation and Ms. Marvel make the power on the board unpredictable and complicated. This deck is excellent and totally out of the ordinary.

Widow here can be Nebula or Cable, and Ravonna Renslayer can be Cable or Sentinel. Mobius would be replaced by Rogue, while Rogue and Gladiator could replace Red Guardian. Jeff is needed for Professor X, and you need both Cannonball and Loki for this list.
