During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission.
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
A Blink in Time: Bonus Challenge – May 17, 2024

| Win with Sage starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Magneto starting in your Deck | 4 | 100 Credits |
Second Dinner has changed the formula for the Bonus Challenge Missions in the A Blink in Time season. Below is a message from Griffin that explains the changes.
We wanted to share a reminder that we’re continuing our experiment with weekend Missions featuring the Season Pass card. This month we’ll be featuring Blink for the first weekend with consolidated rewards of 600 Gold. The following weekend Missions this Season will feature cards that synergize with Blink or the new Spotlight card of the week. As always, please share your feedback with us!
Griffin – Second Dinner

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you four different decks that incorporate both cards featured each weekend.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Sage as well:
Sage Performance

Sage was a card with divided expectations from the playerbase. Her effect takes into account both sides of the board and looks to be just an upgrade on Wolfsbane. But is Sage more than this, and just how flexible can this card be in the current meta?

The first synergy to consider is Ravonna Renslayer. We are approaching a critical mass of Ravonna Renslayer synergy cards that can operate in a similar fashion to the old Zabu. Reducing these cards can often lead to interesting combinations, and Sage can give these decks the pure stats that they lacked before. The Renslayer synergies are the ones to watch and explore if you’re looking for something different with Sage, as she was a stand out in these decks after giving them power they didn’t have before.

The most successful direction appears to have settled as Bounce for Sage. Here she has the ability to be a second

Two other decks that make consistent and simple use of her power are Mister Negative and Silver Surfer. Varying builds of these have been finding success, but it’s Mister Negative that is unlikely to be built without this card in future. Her zero base power synergises well with Jane Foster Mighty Thor as well, so, although you can build Mister Negative decks without Sage, they are going to feel underpowered. Silver Surfer decks can incorporate any 3-drop but Sage‘s pure power potential puts her above many other options.

All this happened with Leech prominently in the meta. Leech actually really hurts Sage since her lack of base power makes her a huge liability when hit with Leech. The fact that she can have this impact, bring Bounce builds back, potentially bring Ravonna Renslayer packages together, and even show herself as a staple of both Mister Negative and Silver Surfer decks going forward is truly a testament to her strength as a card.
Beast
Bounce has been a big winner of the Sage release. She is more effective as you get more used to the playstyle, but the plan is to play her on Turn 3, bounce her back to hand, and then do it again as part of some later turn. You can also see the return of
Mister Negative & Silver Surfer
Rather than feature one deck for each of these synergies, here is a Mister Negative and Silver Surfer deck. This deck aims to use Jane Foster Mighty Thor on Turn 5 to empty the rest of your inverted deck and then combine the cards on the final turn to put large amounts of power down. Play conservatively unless you have Mister Negative on Turn 3 (or Turn 4 into Jane Foster) and try to maximize your good hands. The deck runs a basic Silver Surfer package, so you will find it more than capable of competing without Mister Negative as well.
Ravonna Renslayer
Finally, the Ravonna Renslayer package remains an area to keep exploring with Sage, and this deck was really elevated by the new card. Sage allows you to get more power down and compete without having to fully lock down a lane. Remember to try to stack a lane using Kitty Pryde or Jeff the Baby Land Shark before filling with Wolfsbane or Sage. This lets you relocate some of the power in the lane while setting up your Cannonball on Turn 6.
Magneto
Ever thought about Blink into Iron Man? Well, this little combination can combine with Ravonna Renslayer and Sage to create this. Magneto is one of the big pulls from Blink that you’re aiming for here, and the early game will frequently get you ahead. Just play pure stats and curve out for your weekend enjoyment.

Closing Thoughts
Wins with the new card may seem a tall order some weeks depending what quality of card is released. Hopefully this guide helps you decide first if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, and what you can potentially play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Luck, Have Fun, and Stay Safe!
