During the weekend there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Weekend Missions! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens and Gold! To recap, each weekend will have three Weekend Missions:
- Win Games to Earn Credits
- Win Games with Season Pass Card to Earn Gold
- Win Games with Newly Released Card to Earn Tokens
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. There will be Weekly Missions available for each new card release. The goal of Weekly Missions is to allow players to earn back Tokens with new cards and subsidizing their cost.
This week, the winning 8 games with Silk will earn you 1,000 Collector’s Tokens, Credit Mission for winning games, and a Gold mission for winning games with Ghost-Spider. Other token missions in June and July are expected to differ, for example 3 wins for 100, 4 wins for 300, or 5 wins for 500 tokens depending on the week – 1,000 is on the highest end.

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions so today we will give you three different decks which incorporate Silk and Ghost-Spider plus a short guide to get the most out of the deck and finish the missions quickly, but first a quick look at her performance this week.
This week’s Weekend Challenge is not live due to technical issues, and players will be offered the following compensation (rewards of the missions):
- 1000 Collector’s Tokens to everyone who purchases Silk during her spotlight week (until June 20 at Tuesday 3 AM PST when the new card Spider-Ham is released – see countdown below).
- 150 Gold to Season Pass owners.
- 200 Credits to all players.
Performance
This new system also presents the opportunity to take the time to see how the card has been getting use since the release. Silk appears to be performing as expected. She is a strong card that provides consistent 5 power to your side of the board but does require forethought on how you play her, and when.
The card’s downside appears off-putting at first, but in practice the upside of 5 power on your board outweighs the downside significantly. She provides a tension to the game with your opponent whilst being able to be manipulated in to the location you need her. Once Silk hits the board, your opponent can send it around your board, but only to open spots. There are times where moving Silk isn’t always beneficial for your opponent also and it can lead to less optimal play from them. Also 5 power is a lot.

In practice, Miles Morales is the best synergy card. Kraven in decks outside of those focused on Movement didn’t hit the numbers consistently but Miles Morales is almost guaranteed to be active in the game when you play Silk on 2. This gives you the further 1 energy 5 power card to play. If you are wanting to play Silk though, she doesn’t need Miles Morales to be effective as will be seen with the decks below.
Decks
The straightforward approach is to play Movement decks. Here, the build has the usual move cards which scale such as Human Torch, Dagger and Vulture alongside America Chavez to draw them early often. Once you get ahead using these cards the aim is to play Cloak or Silk with Wave on Turn 5. This then sets up for Doctor Doom or Heimdall on 6. This deck puts power onto the board consistently and this then allows you too hopefully carry this to an easy quick 8 wins for the weekend!
With this being the first weekend mission weekend, the second approach we will take is modifying the highest win rate deck to include the two cards. Hopefully this will give us the chance to explore some variations on decks each week. This section has used the Marvel Snap Zone meta report found here Marvel Snap Meta Decks and Stats – June 2023 – Marvel Snap Zone.
From this, the fan favorite High Evolutionary Lockdown deck rises to the top of the win rate charts. The simple gameplan of these decks of hitting a lockdown on Turn 5 leads to consistent wins and should support these missions. This version includes Silk and Ghost-Spider as the surprise cards. We can use these alongside cards like The Thing on later turns, or just move cards out of flooded if we happen to miscalculate. Silk is also excellent post Storm as she can be maneuvered into the location.
Sera and Silk go together great already. As 2 energy for 5 power, Silk reduces to 1 on the final turn and combines well with cards like
Ghost-Spider can also slot right in here. She has two benefits: First, she costs 2 so you can fit her in on Sera turns and second, she can move a card from Angela allowing for the next buff. Medusa on 2, then Ghost-Spider also lets you move the other 2 energy for 5 power card from the middle location.
Closing Thoughts
8 wins with the new card may seem a tall order some weeks depending what quality of card is released. Hopefully this guide helps you decide first if you want the card prior to the missions coming out and what you can potentially play to complete the missions quickly.
