There has been a recent bug with Marvel Snap when upgrading cards beyond the Credits that you had, using excess Gold unintentionally. This has now been fixed and a general compensation of 500 Gold has been issued to affected players. Please see the official message from Second Dinner below.
Card Upgrade Bug Fix & Known Issue
We’ve recently fixed a bug that in rare cases was causing unexpected Gold to be spent when upgrading cards. Thank you so much for your reports that helped us get to the root cause of this issue. To apologize for the inconvenience we’re sending 500 Gold to all players where Gold was spent on card upgrades from when Upgrade with Gold feature launched until the bug was fixed.
We understand the frustration this bug has caused for all our players. If you feel this compensation isn’t aligned with the scope of your issue, please reach out to Customer Service so we can look up the details of your account and help further.
Please note: There is another known issue with Card Upgrade that in rare situations can add unexpected additional Quality Upgrades if you have enough Boosters & Credits to do so. This seems to be more prevalent for players who are using multiple devices. We believe we’ve found the solution to this issue and it will be included in our next scheduled client patch. In the meanwhile, we recommend you completely shut down the app and re-launch it to ensure the client and server are in sync.
