The Anti-Deck

After seeing Shadow-King, I immediately thought they would work really well together in a control anti-meta deck. The idea is by using Ghost and Invisible Women, you can hide your big counter cards to come in at the end and ruin your opponent’s game plan. I made this keeping some of the top meta decks in mind, these being Surfer, Zabu and Patriot. 

Shadow King seems to be a direct counter to decks like Black Panther, Surfer, or Deadpool and works especially great with Invisible Women.

Another great Invisible Women synergy is Killmonger, shutting decks like Kazoo and Patriot down pretty hard.

Absorbing Man is very versatile, working great with cards like Shang-Chi, Spiderman, and Enchantress.

Doc Oc is here to potentially pull out some cards that we can use our counter pieces on, and just disrupt what our opponent plans to do. 

Zabu just makes sense due to all the 4 drops, and America works great to make our Zabu odds better.

I threw this list together in like 5 minutes, so I’m sure people can think of better cards to slot in. I’d love to know what yall think about the list and what replacements you’d make.

I think the upcoming Ghost card would also work well in this list. Another card I was thinking about would be Super Skrull, since I’ve had some fun shenanigans with him. The deck is also super susceptible to Cosmo which is very popular in Silver Surfer decks, so Skrulling a Cosmo on the location your opponent plans to play Surfer could be quite a surprise.
