Ronan Molds the World

I saw the new card release schedule, and one card in particular really caught my eye, Master Mold. Immediately I thought that a Ronan deck was in order. Being able to fill your opponent’s hand with cards they can’t get rid of sounds like Ronan’s wet dream. 

To start the deck I put in the Ronan staples, Maximus and Baron. 

I threw Mystique in to copy the Ronan and thought of where to go next. Iceman is a good 1 drop that fits the theme of our deck, and Black Widow allows up to fill their hand but also reduces the odds our opponent hits any of their good cards. 

Mister Negative just made sense due to the power of the other cards not being too high and included Ironman and Wong as other good targets for a few of our cards.

The last two slots in the deck were hard for me to fill. Initially, I thought of Sandman and Beast, since beast could bounce our widow, max, and mold. And Sandman, because of his potential Negative Synergy as well as locking us to 1 card a turn. This could prevent some big turn 6 plays from our opponent. 

I opted to remove Sandman from this list and replace him with Arnim Zola. A problem I noticed from the deck is a potential lack of power. and Sandman does not help that unless he gets hit by Negative, Zola being able to hit Ironman, Mystique Max, or Ronan makes him very appealing. I also replaced Beast for Psylock for ramp and getting Negative or Wong out a turn early.
