Pool One Bar Sinister – A Deck by Bynx_Plays

Today's Deck Highlight looks to show you how to abuse the new Featured Location - Bar Sinister! Join HowlingMines as he takes a look at this sweet Pool One deck designed to make the most of our new place to play!

Welcome to Community Deck Feature! – A brand new series here at Marvel Snap Zone. As often as I can, I’m going to dip my toes over into the Deck Database section, pull out something that I think is cool or will be useful to newer players, and showcase it in text and video for the entire Snap community to see!

If you’d like a chance to have your deck featured on Community Deck Feature, upload your decklists over in our Deck Builder or share your creations in the Marvel Snap Zone Discord!

Today’s decklist is a hot one! Content Creator @Bynx_Plays wants to help all the newer players out there abuse our brand new featured location, Bar Sinister! We’re doing that by looking to Pool One to find the best cards that get even better if we suddenly have four of them:

Bynx reckons the best thing we can be doing is Blue Marvel and Spectrum – and I agree! Unsurprisingly, all your cheap ongoing cards suddenly getting +8, or everything suddenly getting +4 is *really* strong, and both of these cards already saw plenty of play without the new location, so you’re not making massive concessions anyway.

We managed to see both of these sweet powerhouses winning in just three games, and even got to see the deck hold it’s own when no Bar Sinister arrived!

Other powerful pool one options for Bar Sinister include Nightcrawler (Having four of those to move back out of Bar Sinister is very cool, and also rocks Hulkbuster well!) and Spider-Woman, who likely wins the location by herself if played on turn six, but I think Bynx has hit the nail on the head by focusing on as many powerful ongoing cards as possible to maximise Spectrum. This means we’d be playing Cosmo anyway, who is also a powerful tech card, but a lot of the remaining space has to be given to Angela, the best Pool One card, and Enchantress, who is also a very powerful tech card right now.
