The Grand Arena is back, and this time we are turning the dial all the way up. Welcome to the biggest, boldest, most ambitious Grand Arena ever.
Every Champion. Every Skill. ALL 21 CHAMPIONS are stepping into the ring at the same time for the first time. A true Massive Melee of a Grand Arena, with each Champion carrying a brand-new prebuilt deck hand-crafted by some of the sharpest minds in the MARVEL SNAP community. Pick your favorite hero, pick your favorite creator, and battle for glory.
What is the Grand Arena?
From June 22nd through June 28th, Grand Arena is the returning game mode where YOU pick your Champion to go out and conquer your foes. Each Champion has their own unique Skill card, and you start with them both in your hand at the beginning of the game.
This Massive Melee run of the Grand Arena is a celebration of every Champion we have ever introduced to the mode. Instead of choosing from the usual handful, you can step into the ring with any of all 21 Champions. Each Champion comes with a brand-new prebuilt deck designed by a community creator such as Bynx, LaurenWhatevs, Interrobang, and more!
Whether you’re new to MARVEL SNAP or a Grand Arena veteran, just pick a Champion, pick up their creator-curated deck, and jump straight into the action.
What makes this Grand Arena different?
If you’ve played the Grand Arena before, you already know the broad strokes: pick a Champion, get their Skill card in your opening hand, and fight across three locations to take down your opponent. This Massive Melee run keeps that core loop completely intact. What it changes is the scale, the source of the decks, and the names on the box.
The Champion pool is the biggest it has ever been. A classic Grand Arena gives you eight Champions to choose from at the start. This time, we are throwing open the doors on every single Champion the Grand Arena has ever featured. All 21 of them are available from the moment the event opens. That includes recent additions like Magneto, Thor, Hulk, and Ghost-Spider alongside fan favorites like Carnage, Mister Fantastic, Mole Man, and H.E.R.B.I.E., plus a handful of Champions making their return in this run.
The decks were built by the community, for the community. In a classic Grand Arena, the Second Dinner design team builds the prebuilt decks you start with. For this Massive Melee Grand Arena, we did something we’ve never done before: we handed the keys over to the players. We invited 21 of MARVEL SNAP’s most respected deckbuilders, theorycrafters, and content creators and asked each of them to design the prebuilt deck they believe best showcases their assigned Champion. The Grand Arena has always been about handing players an exciting starting hand and watching what they do with it, and this run extends that philosophy outward. Whether you’re here to run your favorite Champion, support your favorite creator, or just see what the community’s sharpest minds put together when given the keys, there is a Grand Arena run waiting for you.
Same Grand Arena rules, dialed up. The 6-turn format, the 2-energy starting hand, the Skill card in your opening grip: none of that changes. Tickets work the way they always have. The Event Pass still runs 26 milestones across a Free and Premium track. But because the Champion pool is more than twice as deep this time, every match is a fresh question: which Champion did your opponent pick today, and which creator’s deck are they running? Mirror matches are rarer. Tech choices matter more. The meta has 21 ways to look at it, not 8.
How do you play?
Before you jump into the Grand Arena, you’ll pick your Champion! In this Massive Melee run, all 21 Champions are available to choose from, and each Champion comes with their own creator-curated prebuilt deck ready to play.
Once you start, the game is played over your standard 6 turns, but you’ll start at 2 energy instead of 1 and increase up to 7 by the end of the game. The REALLY exciting part is that you start with your Champion and their Skill card in your hand, so it opens up a lot of different play patterns and strategies. When the game starts, you can see who your opponent’s Champion is and click on their banner to reveal both the Champion card and the associated skill card that starts in their hand.
The player controlling 2 of the 3 locations after 6 rounds wins the game. Winning will reward you with another ticket for entry, as well as 10 XP to progress on the reward track and 10 Glory to spend in the shop. If you lose, it’s not all bad. You still get 5 XP and 5 Glory.
How long will the Grand Arena be here?
The Grand Arena will start at 12 PM PT (daily reset) on June 22 and will end on June 29 at the daily reset. The Grand Arena Shop will remain open for an additional 48 hours, closing on July 1 at the daily reset.
Grand Arena Economy
Battling your Champions in the Grand Arena always leads to Glory and Event XP! Climb the ranks of the Arena Pass and claim a variety of rewards. Bring all the Glory you’ve earned to the Arena Shop and choose from a selection of prizes, including new Cards and Fantastic Cosmetics.
The new Series 4 card Triton (“On Reveal: Give the last character EACH player played last turn +3 Power.” 3 Cost / 4 Power) is available for all players in the Free Track. Based on previous LTGMs, we expect the average Free Event Pass player to earn enough XP to unlock Triton.

Here are all the details:
Rewards Per Match
- Win = 10 Glory + 10 XP + 1 Arena Ticket
- Loss = 5 Glory + 5 XP
- Tie = 5 Glory + 5 XP
Arena Tickets
Each match of Grand Arena requires one Ticket to enter. Every player will start with 6 tickets when the Grand Arena opens. Every 8 hours, 4 additional tickets will be added to your total up to the soft cap of 9. This means that if you have 9 Tickets, there will be no additional Tickets added every 8 hours. The timer for the 8-hour ticket reset starts the first time you enter the Grand Arena. If, for some reason, you choose to test the limits of how many Tickets you can buy and hold at one time, you will be hard-capped at 99.
- One match: One Arena Ticket
- Starting Tickets: 6
- Ticket regeneration: 4 every 8 hours
- Ticket soft cap: 9
- Ticket hard cap: 99
- Cost per ticket: 10 Gold
Grand Arena Event Pass Reward Track
Grand Arena features an Event Pass with two reward tracks: Free and Premium. Progress on both tracks occurs simultaneously, serving as the main way to earn Glory, which you can spend in the Grand Arena Shop. Purchasing the Premium Pass significantly increases your rewards and accelerates your progression along the track.
The Premium Pass can be purchased for 800 Gold and unlocks all the available rewards for the 26 milestones, including the exclusive Triton – Summer Vacation Variant at the top of the track.
