Namorita is the last Series 5 card joining Marvel Snap for the June 2026 Season, Marvel Beach Bash. It is a 3-Cost, 5-Power card that reads: When you draw a card, give it -1 Cost if this is your only card here.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Synergies
To have a card alone on a location on turn three is very simple, especially with the Clog archetype gone for months after changing Debrii to only summons Rocks on our side of the board. As a result, even if Green Goblin could come back as a standalone annoying card, Central Park appears to be the biggest hurdle for Namorita.
With that in mind, let’s consider the new 3-cost will be able to discount our draws quite reliably, and ask ourselves how good can that ability be?
- In a Silver Surfer deck, it looks excellent. It would open for two 3-cost cards to be played on turn five thanks to the discount on either.
- Combo or counter oriented decks don’t play many cards early on, while they crave energy discount later in a match. Moon Girl, Mother Askani and such cards would make Namorita‘s discount even better.
- Wiccan decks are built on their signature card granting extra energy, and typically look for powerful 3-cost cards. Namorita looks like a very good sidekick in that regard.
- High Power Summons and such decks designed to cheat out 6-cost cards early on could welcome a 3-cost able to turn a 6 into a 5 to help with perfect energy usage.
These are just decks with a direct synergy with the card. However, we could also talk about those able to draw and simply add Namorita for the sake of discounting multiple cards and building unpredictable yet strong play patterns.

Neither Thanos nor the Blind Power decks are doing particularly well at the moment. Yet, unpredictability has always been a great way to earn cubes in Marvel Snap. As a result, Namorita could bring those decks that surprise factor they are lacking at the moment. Plus, decks able to discount multiple card will have enough flexibility in the later turns to fill Namorita‘s location to contest it, mitigating the card’s biggest downside.
The Verdict: Should You Get Namorita?
Namorita makes sense in a few strong archetypes of the current metagame, while it could also be a good addition to declining competitors. I doubt the card will change the current landscape, but I still expect Namorita to have some impact on the Marvel Snap metagame.
