Guide

Following up with the Cyber Holiday Bundle’s 8000 Gold ($100 USD or equivalent), and the $2.99 Welcome Bundle, Marvel Snap is trying certainly trying a range of price points. The Bundle is not available for Gold this time, only for real money. It was temporarily available on Steam for cheaper ($19.99 USD) but since then it has been fixed.

Regardless, $29.99 is still not a trivial price point considering you can get more than 1500 Credits for the same amount of money or Gold. The proposition here are the cosmetics – Avatars and the Variant cards. Even if we did value the Variants as a Super Rare at 1200 Gold each, it would almost be there.

Notably, unlike the previous bundle where Apocalypse was a Pool 1 card everyone has, the Variants offered here of Rogue and Gambit are Series 3 cards. However, you do not receive their Base Cards if you purchase this bundle. This means that players would still have to open the Base Cards in the Collector’s Cache and Reserves or you may find them in your Token Shop for 1000 Collector’s Tokens – merely allowing you to play them earlier than usual.

Now, are they good cards? Rogue and Gambit we rate them as Tier C cards as options for specific situations but not must-include top meta cards.

In conclusion: As always, most of the value of a Bundle would be highly subjective – whether you like the look of the cosmetics or not. Unlike the Cyber Holiday Bundle, we are not offered important in-game currency like the Collector’s Tokens which could have increased the incentive to purchase it slightly.

Keep in mind the following points before purchasing Bundles:

  • The new maximum Credit storage limit is 10000
  • Variants offered in Bundles are exclusive and are likely not offered through other sources

You may also want to plan ahead and find out what other Bundles are upcoming and save your resources for until the one you like comes along. There are definitely some interesting ones like the Sera Anime variant (one of the best cards in Marvel Snap). Find all the datamined information here (subject to change when they are released):
