Wow, we haven’t had bundles with a price over 5,000 Gold for a while! And here we have as much as 6,500. But is there a catch? Is the bundle worth this pile of Gold? Let’s take a closer look and find out
The bundle provides both Tokens and Credits in large quantities, which results in 0.97 Tokens per Gold – far above the recommendation threshold of 0.9 Tokens per Gold! The Progress Value here is also surprising, 123% is a very good indicator, since we rarely see bundles with a Progress Value above 120% at all.
Comparison With Other Bundles
The Progress Value charts speak for themselves. We haven’t seen such a peak in Progress Value since November 2025 when the Clone With a Cause bundle was released with 125% Progress Value. Such a good result puts the bundle significantly above the average.
In its price category, the bundle doesn’t hold up as confidently as we’d like. Among all bundles since summer 2023, it shows a decent but not top-tier result. However, among bundles from the last 6 months at this price point, it ranks second right after Wail of a Time, while staying pretty close to the average value.
The most important metric for any bundle, Total Tokens per Gold, is also good. Although we see much higher values among bundles from the last year (Wail of a Time, Clone With a Cause), not to mention Booster Packs, the Royal Tide bundle still performs extremely well and stays significantly above average.
This is even more visible on the chart with bundles from the last 6 months, where we see a general decline in bundle value. Here, the Royal Tide bundle essentially takes 3rd place right after the two bundles mentioned above.
Although the bundle contains a decent amount of Credits – it isn’t profitable at all for those who want to get them at a good price, since it’s way below the base value of 1.25 Credits per Gold and stays almost at the bottom with its 0.54 Credits per Gold.
What if you don’t have Namora?
As is usually the case, since the bundle includes a variant for Namora (a Series 5 card), buying the bundle also gives you the base version for free if you don’t own Namora yet.
Although many players might have already gotten her during the almost 2 years she’s been in the game, she is quite specific and isn’t a Tier-1 deck staple, so it’s possible you’ve been holding off on buying her. In that case, the bundle’s value skyrockets and you’ll get a lot for the Gold spent.
Use cases for the Namora variant
As for the best use cases for Namora, there’s basically only one – a modern On Reveal deck with Wong and Odin.
Due to the recent release of Rama-Tut, a version with him has also appeared, but they only differ by this one card and have almost the same win rate stats (which are more modest than great).
But if you like this playstyle or want to try unusual combo-oriented gameplay with tight card interaction – it’s a great option, and Namora really is one of the deck-defining cards here. So buying the bundle could potentially unlock a new archetype for you.
Conclusion
To sum it up, I have to admit – the bundle surprised me. Since last November, this is the best bundle we’ve seen. Plus, it contains a variant for a Series 5 card, even if it’s a niche one. Its only drawback is the high price in Gold, which many players simply might not have in their stash.
So my verdict is 4.5 stars. The bundle is quite good and worth it, especially if you don’t have Namora. If you don’t have such a huge amount – you still have even better Booster Packs, even if they realize Gold potential slower. So if you’re already buying them, or you have a lot of Gold, or you just want a variant for Namora – go ahead and get it.
If you don’t have Namora at all – you should definitely get it, it’s a must-have for you, and the card is pretty good, even if it’s only for one archetype.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Royal Tide bundle page! Below is an updated guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
