Table of Contents
Once again, an unexpectedly long time has passed since the release of the previous bundle. While they used to come out every week or even more often, now we’re seeing gaps of 2 weeks between unique bundles for Gold. Let’s see if the wait was worth it or if the bundle in question will be a Fallen one compared to the others.
The contents of the bundle are extremely modest for 2026 – 2,000 Tokens and that’s it. It would be fine if there were Credits included, then we’d get at least a bit more value, but with Tokens it’s a fixed value.
There’s also a variant for The Fallen One, which isn’t the most useful card in the meta, but it definitely doesn’t affect the base value. 0.8 Tokens per Gold and 104% Progress Value is just a terrible result if you already have the card or don’t need it.
Comparison With Other Bundles
And the charts confirm it – Starfall is simply one of the worst bundles in terms of Progress Value both over the last year and the last 6 months.
If you compare Starfall with other cheap bundles priced around 2,000-3,000 Gold, there have been much worse deals since summer 2023, but even so Starfall is below average on the chart, plus that was in a different era. If we look at the current situation, among such cheap unique bundles Starfall is the worst in the last six months.
And finally, regarding the most important value of Tokens per Gold… the bundle is simply at the rock bottom among bundles over the last year along with Army of One, which was essentially a doubled version of Starfall in terms of content. And if you look at bundles from the last six months, Starfall is just the worst bundle, beyond any competition.
What if you don’t have The Fallen One?
As for cases if you don’t have The Fallen One in your collection yet… Yes, the bundle will give you more value this way, which is especially good due to the cost of only 2,500 Gold. Yes, by the numbers it’s better than any bundle for Gold (usually).
But since the card is quite weak (which we’ll talk about later) and because almost any other bundle with a high series card will offer you more resources for every Gold spent, I’d think twice before buying the bundle even if you don’t have The Fallen One yet.
But on the positive side – if you’re very close to a full collection and The Fallen One is among the cards you’re missing – this bundle is a good way to fill your collection. In this case, the quality of cards isn’t as important as the quantity for the sake of completing the collection and making it easier to get the cards you need from Snap Packs.
Use cases for the The Fallen One variant
I really had to sweat to find at least some decks with a positive win rate and a decent cube rate using The Fallen One in the current meta. And even then – the decks I found feel much better WITHOUT The Fallen One in terms of both win rate and cube rate. The only exception is the buff deck shown below, which has a slightly higher win rate with The Fallen One, but a 50% lower cube rate than versions without this card.
So yeah, by getting The Fallen One from the bundle you’ll indeed have access to this interesting card, but because of how many resources it requires for setup, it’ll usually be easier for you not to use it. So buying the bundle just for The Fallen One is questionable, unless it’s one of the last cards missing from your collection. And below, as you’ve guessed, is that selection of decks where The Fallen One is used, but which are better without it.
Conclusion
Thus, the Starfall bundle became a victim of the Series 5 card in its contents and received much fewer resources than it deserved for 2,500 Gold.
Therefore, without counting The Fallen One as a possible bonus Series 5 card, the bundle is just terrible and is the worst we’ve seen in a long time. But even if you don’t have The Fallen One – once you get it, it’ll likely just gather dust in your collection since it’s too weak in its current state.
The presence of Tokens instead of Credits in the bundle adds even more negativity, which makes the bundle’s value limited and not as pleasant as it would be with Credits and their CL track progression along with small cosmetic bonuses.
So the verdict is 0.5 stars, a very bad offer, especially if you already have The Fallen One. You’re better off buying Booster Packs with this Gold over the next month or spending it on another bundle with a truly good and necessary Series 5 card.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Starfall bundle page! Below is an updated guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
