Shadowlands Daredevil is the Season Pass card joining Marvel Snap for the May 2026 Season, Daredevil: Crimson Twilight. It is a 2-Cost, 3-Power card that reads: On Reveal: Shuffle in 3 Demons. When you draw a card with 6 or more Power, +2 Power.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Season Pass cards can only be obtained through purchasing the Season Pass they are attached to when they release. At the end of their season, Season Pass cards become Series 5, and can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as part of the daily rotation. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack during the season following their release.
Synergies
The Demon is a very strong card, as The Hood proved over the years. However, the very popular 1-cost puts the Demon in our hand, not in our deck, which is a huge difference compared to the new season pass card: Shadowlands Daredevil.
When played on turn two, we can expect the new 2-cost to grow to at least 7 power, sometimes 9 or 11. However, I think I would have liked Mike Murdock more if he didn’t shuffle cards in my deck, as that could be a problem for the stability of my strategy. Indeed, even if drawing a [1/6] is fine, and there are several cards to grow it even more such as Patriot or Ka-Zar, playing Shadowlands Daredevil on turn two also reduces my chances of drawing those important cards.
As a result, I’m afraid the new season pass card might bring some reliability issue that will limit the power it represents. In that context, I feel like we might as well build to high roll with Shadowlands Daredevil, and just assume the draws will be alright. Strong standalone 6+Power cards, or able to synergize with the Demon, here we come!

The Verdict: Should You Get Shadowlands Daredevil?
From a power standpoint, Shadowlands Daredevil should represent a solid 2-cost card, while the Demon would be the best 1-cost in the game if allowed to be in our starting line-up. However, going from 12 to 15 cards is a big drawback, as it reduces our odds of drawing key elements of our strategy. Every time we will ponder whether not playing Shadowlands Daredevil on turn two would be a good idea due to those extra cards in our deck, it will cast some doubt on its overall utility.
Even in decks able to synergize with 1-cost cards, the likes of Iron Patriot, Askani'son or Hawkeye Kate Bishop will be considered instead of the new season pass card.
Overall, I fear Shadowlands Daredevil might not make too much of an impact on the high ranks metagame, but should be a fine card otherwise.
