Jack Flag is the last Series 5 card joining Marvel Snap for the February 2026 Season, Guardians’ Greatest Hits Vol.2. It is a 3-Cost, 3-Power card that reads:
Ongoing: Your cards here with increased Power have +2 Power.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Series 5 cards can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as the latest Seasonal Spotlight card. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for 5,000 Collector’s Tokens during their season and the following one.
Synergies
Jack Flag isn’t a very exciting way to close out the season. Indeed, the new 3-cost is another variation of Captain America or Diamondback, rewarding us for something specific on a location. However, Jack Flag should easily become the best of that bunch, considering how flexible “cards with increased power” is compared to Ongoing or opposing cards with afflicted power.
Simply due to that fairly simple requirement to meet, I expect Jack Flag to sneak its way into the metagame. It probably won’t have much of an impact, but there are too many synergies the card can fit in to ignore.

First, we have the obvious pick when it comes to any new 3-cost release. However, Silver Surfer also synergizes with Jack Flag due to buffing other cards, so clearly, these two will be friends in the future.

Jack Flag being an Ongoing card, it should also be a consideration in that synergy, since there are so many ways to buff or copy abilities withing the Ongoing synergy.

Last, Jack Flag can be considered alongside cards with a wide buff type of ability, typically leading to a deck with most cards being buffed by the end of a match.
Aurora is the most difficult one to work out, since there are already many great Ongoing cards for a limited amount of spots. The same could said about Victoria Hand and her stacked list, although her recent performance could call for a bit of an update.
Ka’zar and Spectrum on the other hand, should have no issue with Jack Flag, as the new card should represent a [3/11] in most games we draw as intended.
Overall, Jack Flag’s main competition should be all those other 3-cost we can consider in our deck. Arguably, Cosmo deserves a spot in most decks currently, due to how many decks it is great against. However, when it comes to points, Jack Flag should represent enough to compete with the likes of Captain America in decks able to buff an entire location.
The Verdict: Should You Get Kraglin?
With ties to Silver Surfer and other archetypes always somewhat relevant in Marvel Snap, I expect Jack Flag to find a way to see play. It probably won’t be needed in any of those decks, but won’t be hurting our deck either.
In the end, Jack Flag should represent a [3/9] or [3/11] by the end of the match, more than enough to be a consideration once in our collection.
