How Good Is Hit Monkey? 5 Decks For The New Season Pass Card!

Howdy folks, friendly neighbourhood HowlingMines here today with something a little different: I’m not normally one for “Season Pass Card Hype/Decks” – but as we reach the end of the season, we prepare ourselves to move into the next one: Animals Assemble, with the new season pass card, Hit Monkey.

Hit Monkey is a card I’ve been super excited for since it was originally datamined, as I’m a bit of a Sera fanboy – but when every new season begins, I always get asked the same question: Is this season pass worth buying?

Is The Season Pass Worth Buying?

Long story short, I think it’s always worth buying just for the stuff you get during the season pass track.

In terms of specifically Hit Monkey though (and admittedly through the lens of a crippling bias) – I also think, yes, this season pass is worth getting. Hit Monkey looks like it’ll slot right into a number of existing decks such as Sera Control and Bounce, and may well create a few new decks through its ability to offer a large amount of stats on a final turn, how well it appears to work with Mysterio, and maybe even doubling it up with Moon Girl or Absorbing Man!

If you don’t much care for my explanations, the decklists are available below – but I wanted to take a moment to mention that, yes, while a number of these lists include Kitty Pryde (who unsurprisingly, should be pretty good with Hit Monkey once she is re-enabled) – I don’t think she is *needed* for any of them, so look to use those shells as inspirations if you want to replace her!
