Guide

The Hard Eight Bundle is one of the best bundles of the month. Judge for yourself: it has the value of 0.86 Collector’s Tokens per Gold (in equivalent), as well as high CL Progress and Total values, which are, respectively, 2.9 and 4.4. In turn, the Cosmetic Value is average and equals 1.5. However, keep in mind that all of these values can be even higher if you spend the obtained Gold in a profitable way. The fact is that the calculation of these values assumes that you use Gold only to convert it into Credits through the in-game shop (this option is always available and does not depend on current offers). But you can spend Gold on bundles and thus the value of the Hard Eight Bundle bundle will be even higher.

But when it comes to the power of cards whose variants are contained in the bundle, it’s not so good.

Doctor Octopus is only used in Galactus decks, players haven’t even included it in Junk Decks for months. And for those who haven’t yet completed Series 3 it will be very difficult to find a good use for Doctor Octopus.

The Black Cat case is even worse – it’s only used in the bad spectrum of Hela decks. Good Hela decks don’t include this card, and players prefer to use any six energy card instead. Beginner players who expect to get a variant to use the card right away won’t be able to find a good use for Black Cat at all, she is just too bad in her present form.

In the end it’s a good bundle, but the price in dollars and the included variants for unpopular cards lower the rating a bit. Also, the Cosmetic Value is not that impressive to rate the bundle very highly. That’s why we rate this bundle a 3.5 out of 5.

Rating

As usual, keep in mind the following points before purchasing Bundles:

• Purchase cash items cheaper using the official publisher Nuverse web shop.
• The maximum Credit storage limit is 10,000.
• Players need to be at least Collection Level 500 before being able to see bundles that offer Collector’s Tokens offered in the Shop.
• The Mystery Variant is chosen randomly from a Base Card you already own, from the released 700 Gold Rare variant pool.
• You can use any new bundle-specific variants acquired even if you don’t yet own the Base Card.
• Bundle-specific variants are exclusive and are likely will not be offered through other sources.
