is the Season Pass card joining Marvel Snap for the March 2026 Season, X-Men: Origins of Apocalypse. It is a 4-Cost, 5-Power card that reads: Objective: Have a full front row at each location ➡ Transform into Apocalypse, Celestials’ Chosen. (0/6)

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Season Pass cards can only be obtained through purchasing the Season Pass they are attached to when they release. At the end of their season, Season Pass cards become Series 5, and can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as part of the daily rotation. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack during the season following their release.
Synergies
There are a lot of different parameters to consider for this card, so let’s sort through those one at a time:
- First, we need to have two cards per location. While it is a constraint, that is quite simple to accomplish with the like of Squirel Girl, Shanna and other abilities summoning other cards. That will require us to run certain cards alongside En Sabah Nur, but the objective should not be a problem. As long as location aren’t too annoying obviously.
- We need cards we are interested to summon when our card transforms into Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen. Already, that is a bit more annoying as it means we’ll have to run a mix of different cards. Some to complete the objective, and other to serve as payoff. Hopefully, we don’t draw the wrong ones early while our deck is full of cheap utility cards.
- En Sabah Nur will transform at the end of the turn if we met the objective. If we play the 4-cost early in the match, it could be countered with a Cosmo or Stardust blocking Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen‘s on reveal, or a disabling ability such as Red Guardian.
- To complete the objective, we will have to play a certain way, spreading our points accros all locations in order to have two cards on each. Once again, we have plenty of cards to summon and easily get 2 everywhere. However, this will push for a specific play style, which might not get rewarded if En Sabah Nur doesn’t show up, or the swap isn’t that great.
Typically, I don’t like looking for the reasons a card might fail, but I feel like there are quite a bit of issues to keep in mind with the new season part card. I wonder if Lockjaw or Blink aren’t simpler ways to do something extremely similar.
Anyway, here are plenty of cheap, flexible cards we can use to get two front row cards at each location:

It is much tougher to think of which are the better payoffs. The Infinaut and such cards obviously come to mind, but the cards we are looking to summon will likely be tied to the archetypes we build around En Sabah Nur.
There is at least one 1-cost card we should consider in our deck:

The On Reveal king will synergize really well with Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen, and would also represent a great pull from our deck.
The Verdict: Should You Get En Sabah Nur?
My review of the previous season pass card was catastrophic to say the least, and I think I’m ready for a repeat. Indeed, not transforming En Sabah Nur leaves us a with a terrible card. Yet, even if we transform it into Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen, it isn’t a fantastic card.
It is a cheaper and more flexible Blink, but we aren’t guaranteed to get a card of a higher price. It has more power than Lockjaw, but carries a more annoying condition. Plus, we are forced to position our cards a certain way, which I don’t like either. The overall power should be solid at least, since we will always swap our weakest card on the board.
I definitely see how the card will help decks mixing cheap cards and important high-cost ones such as Kazoo or Patriot, but I don’t foresee En Sabah Nur as a great new addition overall. Maybe the key is to use Grand Master, Odin and the like on the transformed Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen to really get maximum value from it.
