Special Offer (Gorr) Bundle Guide – Details and Analysis

Buyer's guide to the Special Offer Marvel Snap Bundle with details and analysis. How good is it in comparison to other bundles?

The last bundle featuring a Series 5 card, namely Don’t Stop the Healing, ended exactly a month ago, and now we once again have the opportunity to purchase a bundle with a good Progress Value and a Gorr variant on top! Let’s analyze. Let’s dive deeper into the question of whether to get the bundle.

As we can see, the price is quite high – 6,500 Gold is significantly more than the 5,000 Gold for the Don’t Stop the Healing bundle. Moreover, the Progress Value here is lower – 121% compared to 128%.

But the card here isn’t some niche Anti-Venom; it’s Gorr, who is a must-have in Mister Negative decks. So, you can already say – if you’re playing or want to play Mister Negative and don’t have the base Gore card – this bundle is definitely for you.

Comparison With Other Bundles

If you have Gorr and you’re considering the bundle in terms of the resources it contains, the Progress Value here is between average and maximum levels.

The bundle has many competitors with better prices, both from very recent bundles and those that were released quite a while ago, such as The One Who Knocks, Don’t Stop the Healing, and the recent Border Bundle, which are significantly better with their Progress Values above 128%.

In its price category, things are still bad – when expanding the range of bundles and looking at bundles priced from 5,000 to 7,500 Gold, the considered bundle is hardly better than the average result since the release of Spotlight Caches.

The situation hasn’t changed much in the last 6 months either – this bundle doesn’t show outstanding results.

In terms of Tokens for Gold, the bundle certainly falls short compared to Token Tuesdays, but it still holds fairly high, offering 0.77 Tokens for Gold against 0.8 for Token Tuesdays.

When it comes to Credits for Gold, the conclusion is obvious – the value is very poor, but it’s not surprising, as they serve more as a nice bonus here, and the bundle shouldn’t be seriously considered for acquiring Credits.

If we look at the number of new Series 5 cards for Gold, the situation isn’t bad. The bundle falls behind a number of bundles mentioned earlier, but overall it holds up very well, offering a decent result.

What if you don’t have Gorr?

Well, if we look at the bundle in case you don’t have Gorr and you’d like to add him to your collection- it’s all pretty obvious, as in all similar cases – this is a must-have bundle if you have enough Gold.

The Progress Value of the bundle skyrockets to 244% and leaves no room for competition, as confirmed by the graphs below. So if Gor will be useful to you, don’t miss the chance to get a Series 5 card in addition to an already good value.

The Usefulness of the Variant in the Meta

As for the decks where Gorr can be used, of course, first and foremost in Mr. Negative decks! Gorr has already become a staple card, and it’s almost impossible to find a build without him.

So, regardless of whether you’ll use the Gorr variant as a substitute for the base version or just as cosmetics, Mr. Negative decks are likely where you’ll put him.

Also, after the release of Khonshu, certain experiments are taking place, and these two cards sometimes appear together, but it’s still unclear how the meta will shape up and what place Khonshu decks will occupy in it.

Conclusion

Thus, the bundle for those who have Gorr is still decent, but due to the high price, you’re probably better off waiting for another bundle that contains more Progress Value or a variant for a Series 5 card that you don’t have yet.

For those who don’t have Gorr, there’s really no need to explain anything – just grab it and you won’t regret it, especially since Gorr hasn’t been spotted in the known Spotlight Caches.

Considering all of the above, I think it’s fair to give an average rating of 4 stars, as not everyone will be able to get additional value from the bundle, and the pure value of the bundle is simply at a very good level, but not an incredible one, like it was with the Don’t Stop the Healing bundle.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
