Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.
We also got big Snap Packs news yesterday, including a date of release. The end of the video has my breakdown on that, too!
EMA has been releasing wonderful decks on Twitter every few days while sitting near the top of the Infinite Leaderboard.
This list is a very different take on Thors from what we’ve seen lately. A lot of recent builds have been trying to scale Thor and Beta Ray Bill up so that they are huge, lane-winning cards by multi-proccing their hammers. This list has no way to do that, instead hoping for one trigger of the Hammer to give a threatening good-sized body.
The list still takes advantage of the Hammers, though, in two distinct ways. First, the Hammers are zero cost On Reveal abilities. That makes Werewolf by Night good friends with them, and having even one can make Werewolf a 3-9 at the end of the game. Even two earlier procs and he’s a 3-13, a lane-winning threat in an unpredictable location. Sam Wilson is a decent secondary scaler here, too, as a 2-8 is nothing to scoff at.
The other thing the Hammers do is help you lose early priority. Thor is undersized as a 3-4 and Bill is about average at a 4-6. Neither is big enough, if you’re careful with placement, to get you priority, which is the other way this deck works – by running so much tech your opponent can’t outdo your scaling! Enchantress, Shadow King, and Shang Chi are all huge, lane-winning threats at the end of the game without priority, and between the three of them, you have tech for almost every opponent. Zabu makes it possible to even Shang AND Enchantress together on the last turn! Add in Mobius M Mobius for Mister Negative and Bullseye, and you have most matches covered.

- Turn 2: Sam > Kate
- Turn 3: Thor/Bill > Werewolf
- Turn 4: Same as 3, add a 1
- Turn 5: Jane or Thor/Wolf and Kate
- Turn 6: Move the wolf, play the hammers, use Shadow King and Shang/Ench to win.
I should be on Stream tonight recording the Snap Judgments Podcast, if you’re interested.
