Prowler is the last Series 5 cards joining Marvel Snap for the November 2025 Season, Arachnid Anarchy. It is a 3-Cost, 4-Power card that reads: On Reveal: Add 2 Thief’s Tools to your hand. Set their Costs to 0 if a card moved last turn.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Series 5 cards can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as the latest Seasonal Spotlight card. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for 5,000 Collector’s Tokens during their season and the following one.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Sort of if Merlin and Hawkeye Kate Bishop had a baby, Prowler comes in as another flexible card we will be delighted to pair with Werewolf By Night. However, while Prowler would have been fine if we had to pay for the Thief’s Tools, just like we do for Merlin’s spells or Hawkeye Kate Bishop‘s arrows, Second Dinner felt the need to give us a chance to play them for free.
I’m sure the developers thought we could use Prowler as an option against Move, getting the Thief’s Tools for free every time we face Human Torch and its crew. Yet, Flight Harness is enough to consider the new card in a move deck as well.
On top of Move and Werewolf By Night plus Merlin decks, I feel like Prowler is a good enough reward to just play a few strong Move cards in flexible archetypes. After all, you only need to move once to get the discount, something you can do with Nightcrawler, Jeff the Baby Land Shark, Spider-Punk or Hydra Bob.
Overall, there are many was to surround Prowler, some serving as the backbone of an archetype, and others just flexible cards you can run in any decks with available slots. Here is a list of cards we can move by turn four at the latest, so we have time to play Prowler on turn five and his tools on turn six.

This is the obvious pair, as Werewolf By Night would allow discounting the Thief’s Tools, while those same tools would allow moving Werewolf By Night.

We have plenty of cards with the ability to move in the game, most usable as standalone inclusions.

We also have the ability to move other cards, although these tend to be more synergistic than cards able to move on their own.

If moving our own cards doesn’t suit your preferred play style, you could also consider moving opposing cards.

These are tied to certain synergies, but could make Prowler a consideration if we find a few other cards able to move.
The Verdict: Should You Get Prowler?
I don’t expect anything less but a new flexible, fit plenty of archetypes type of card from Prowler.
Hydra Bob plus Mercury, or alongside Ghost-Spider and Spider-Punk is enough to get the Thief’s Tools discounted, while Move and Werewolf By Night are top tier synergies to build around the moment.
Then, I believe Prowler will be both a popular and impactful card.
Pre-Release Score:
Prowler Decks
There are so many possibilities with Prowler, I feel like it is better to simply give it a try rather than theorize on its best possible home. Indeed, the card should good as soon as we managed to get the Thief’s Tools to zero, which is fairly simple to achieve.
Here are plenty of ideas, all with at least two cards able to trigger the discount. Arguably, we might not even need to use one, as our opponent or a location should also help quite often.
