For the second edition of the Golden Gauntlet tournament, players had to win at least five of their seven matches on day 1 to keep playing on the second day and possibly reach the top sixteen finals. After seven rounds of play, only 146 players out of 869 participants made it into day 2. From there, sixteen players earned their ticket to the knock-out final rounds.
If you are curious about a certain player’s performance, you can check everyone’s score and deck list at this link: https://topdeck.gg/bracket/marvel-snap-golden-gauntlet-ii
The list of cards included in all the 869 decks, ranked by popularity, can be found here. Here are the most popular cards:

No big surprise here among the eight most popular cards. They are all meta-defining cards, either because they are core to certain archetypes or a great inclusion in almost any build.
It is quite interesting to see that there are no 5- and 6-Costs in this list. Alioth would be the first among those cards, two entries further down the list.

Day 2 Top 16 Players
From the five players with a perfect score at the end of day 1, three managed to punch their ticket to the finals. In order to make it there, even someone at 7-0 entering day 2 still had to win at least one more. Indeed, the colossal number of players made it so that even an 8-2 record had to qualify through tiebreakers. In total, there were 36 players at 8-2 or better, meaning more than half of them were left out of the top cut.
