Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. If you want three more new decks today, check out this video!
Well, that took next to no time!
Agamotto is already in an absolute ton of top decks, most notably today’s deck (the #1 deck in Marvel Snap right now). This one is an absolutely beast; Agamotto‘s spells allow for a ton of flexibility and explosiveness, and adding Eson gives you a potential late game win after hitting a spell or another generated card.
Eson has been good, but not great so far—this is easily the home he fits best in—but Agamotto is nuts. A [5/13] is massive, as is the ability to ramp out a +4 energy turn or transform two other cards in a lane into the biggest one. Even the 2-Cost spell that moves a card and gives -5 power can be game changing math for an opponent’s card. It can turn a good play into a Green Goblin on their side.
Since October, all the Season Pass cards have been phenomenal: Agent Venom, Surtur, Galacta, Iron Patriot, and Sam Wilson are all top tier cards. Agamotto is definitely joining them, and we’ll soon see if its power will lead to a nerf like Surtur and Agent Venom, or to a consistent meta staple like the others.
Cougarrr basically immediately hit Infinite with this Black Knight list. It’s brilliant at abusing both Agamotto and Eson, and the meta is in no way ready for it right now.
With this list, Black Knight can discard
Or you can use Valentina to get a 4-Cost 6-drop (3-Cost with Quinjet) to copy, and there’s also Iron Patriot for even more basically free power. This one is so unpredictable.
And, of course, Agamotto just adds to that unpredictability. Turn a whole lane into your biggest card, ramp out both the Ebony Blade and Frigga, or just drop a huge Agamotto. This is the one I’ll be starting with tonight on stream!
