Week 1 is always a mess due to the bots making any deck look at least decent. Still, both Weapon X Wolverine and Chamber seem to have decks built around their specific requirement, showing the two cards represent enough points to be worth building around.
Chamber doesn’t ask for any particular ability to be in the deck, so expect the 2-cost to be mostly alongside strong generic cards. So far, the best build is a ramp oriented strategy to go from 3 to 5 energies and start playing those big cards. Early on, Valentina and Iron Patriot allow playing something while creating cards to buff Chamber, creating a package alongside Eson to play those created cards for free.
Weapon X Wolverine sees play in both regular and flexible destroy decks so far, with a Dormammu build posting the best results overall. The new season pass serves as a giant points stick in all those destroy decks, typically enough to challenge a location when played on turn two, and not met with a counter card.
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Destroy Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Chamber starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Weapon X Wolverine starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |
Chamber

This is the first week of the season, meaning the stats are all over the place. Yet, there are still a few metrics we can look, and they all tell us Chamber is a pretty solid card so far.
First, we can see the Win Rate on Play is higher than the Win Rate on Draw, meaning the new 2-cost helps the deck including it.
Then, the Cube Rate on Draw is miles ahead of the Cube Rate on Play, indicating Chamber is a scary card, leading to many retreats as the opponent wants to cut their losses.

Weapon X Wolverine Performance

Weapon X Wolverine is off to a decent, but far from impressive start so far, especially when looking at the higher ranks. Indeed, The latest season pass is posting lofty numbers when all ranks are considered, and seems to improve its decks based on both the win and cube rate metrics. However, both numbers drop quite a bit once we only look at the higher ranks, likely due to more disruptive cards being played in those spheres of the ladder.
Arguably, Weapon X Wolverine is a solid 2-cost to consider in any destroy deck. Yet, the card might not deserve to snap whenever we play it on turn two, as multiple cards could counter it, both immediately (Red Guardian) or later in a match (Shadow King).

Bonus Challenge Decks
Both cards have two archetypes available currently, all with great numbers for the weekend missions. Chamber is more permissive when it comes to decks able to play it, but Hela and Eson Ramp lead the way, with quite a lead on the others. There are some Devil Dinosaur plus Nick Fury decks as well, but their win rate is average at best, and we can’t rely on the cube average with the bots helping in the department.
As expected, Weapon X Wolverine is a Destroy exclusive card, but looks able to contribute to both the classic destroy or more flexible builds.
The big surprise comes from Weapon X Wolverine seemingly kicking Deadpool out of its deck to play Squirrel Girl instead. Plus, that particular deck is doing better than the regular Deadpool Destroy so far this season.
Neither beats the Dormammu deck however, likely better suited for the high ranks as its more flexible development allows playing without Weapon X Wolverine being forced to carry a location on its own.
