Although Captain Carter is played in more decks, the new Season Pass card and Goliath shared the spotlight in the current best performer on the road to Infinite: Ongoing Combo. When the current best build in Marvel Snap features both new cards, there is no doubt the weekend missions will be a breeze to complete.
If you aren’t a fan of the Ongoing synergy (and logically didn’t get Goliath as a result), Captain Carter also sees play in other great decks like Silver Surfer and Good Cards. As such, there is virtually no reason not to grab the extra Gold this weekend.
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Play Ongoing Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Goliath starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Captain Carter starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |
Goliath Performance

As expected, Goliath is a limited yet strong card in the right Ongoing deck. The math is pretty simple to determine whether Goliath is worth running in your deck. If you have an average of least five Ongoing cards on the board each game—something very easy to accomplish with Sam Wilson Captain America available—then Goliath is a better Lizard and often the highest power 2-Cost available for your synergy.
Unless you value Dazzler more or have other cards you would rather run because of their abilities, Goliath is going to be a card you want. Plus, it synergizes with Ravonna Renslayer, which means you can keep it in your hand early and simply play it out whenever you have leftover energy.

Captain Carter Performance

Captain Carter has failed to separate itself from the pack so far. The card is able to produce quite a lot of points, but the existence of Enchantress makes it difficult to Snap confidently whenever you play it.
The card is played in some of the best decks in the game, so it does bring something to the table. However, Goliath is posting slightly better numbers, which means you could easily dismiss the new Season Pass card as “just another Ongoing card” for now. Either way, they both live in the shadow of Sam Wilson Captain America, the real star among Ongoing cards at the moment.

Bonus Challenge Decks
They are a few decks, such as Good Cards Control and Silver Surfer, that are playing Captain Carter on her own for the points she brings to the equation.
If you didn’t get Goliath or you simply don’t want to play an Ongoing deck, these two are posting great numbers at the moment.
If you want to complete Goliath‘s mission at the same time, however, then an Ongoing themed deck is the way to go. Fortunately, both takes on the archetype are good enough to rack up some wins. The Combo build is doing significantly better, but Doctor Doom 2099, even after a couple of nerfs, still represents a good enough foundation to build a deck around.
