Hello everyone and welcome to Best Marvel Snap Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite decks this week. In addition to the podcast, I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the internet (ahem X and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.
Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!
Snap Masters Tournament

Snap Masters was an invitation and qualifier only tournament held between 16 of the best Marvel players in the world. The Top 2 at this amazing tournament ended up being the great Evazord and the eventual winner, Kazuma.
EvaZord Phoenix Force
Deck Thoughts
If you aren’t seeing a lot of Shadow King in your metagame, this Phoenix Force list is, well, a force. Eva’s innovation here is to add Dagger in the flex spot, giving an additional target on top of The Human Torch and Multiple Man. Dagger is often choice 3 to destroy, but the extra option feels great to have, especially against decks that run Killmonger where the Human Torch is a no go. The goal with Torch or Dagger is to hit them with Arnim Zola to win a lane. Multiple Man needs no such help, as he can put a ton of power in every lane, although Ghost-Spider is an amazing aid for all of these cards.
The backup plan here is to Shuri Nimrod. If that’s accomplished, two destroy cards can put 24+ power into each lane, and much more if Venom is used. That’s enough to win a lot of games of Marvel Snap.
Nimrod,
EvaZord Junk
Deck Thoughts
This deck is an Eva special, his creation with which he has hit #1 in previous seasons. It’s underpowered for the current meta, but Eva is proof that good play can overcome a slightly weaker deck.
For this list, Eva abuses the power of Invisible Woman to hide control pieces. Behind an Invisible Woman can be a negative power to cards over 3 Cost with U.S. Agent or a Shadow King to ruin a Thena, and so on. Heck, even a Sage or Cannonball to win with power can be back there. If that lane is avoided by the opponent, well, that’s a free lane win, and it makes the playing of the powerful counter cards even more unpredictable.
Red Hulk can be replaced with Magneto. Jeff, Nocturne, and Copycat can be Juggernaut, Cassandra Nova, Polaris, Nightcrawler, White Widow, Cosmo – any good card that fits. The rest of the cards are needed.
EvaZord Ongoing Tribunal
Deck Thoughts:
Eva’s final deck was a classic meta-call. Here we have the classic Hela Enjoyer style Ongoing Tribunal. This list thas existed in some fashion for almost a year now, and it largely succeeds by placing Iron Man, Onslaught, and The Living Tribunal into one lane and letting that be enough power. Most of the deck is tricks to get there – Mystique to copy Iron Man, Jubilee, Magik, and Iron Lad to help get more pieces, Wave and Sera to get those cards out when the curve isn’t favorable. There is one small twist though – Klaw is added to the list, as a Klaw Onslaught, especially with Iron Man can absolutely steal a game.
Iron Lad is the only replaceable card here – he can be Crystal.
Kazuma Arishem
Deck Thoughts
Rumors of Arishem‘s demise were exaggerated, as this felt like the most powerful deck at the tournament. Loki is now the single best Arishem card by a lot to the point where you basically always play it, it counters your worst matchups, and even Blob was cut from the list.
Instead of Leech and Doctor Octopus, Kazuma goes for unpredictability here – Vision as moving power and Klaw as a power spread are wildly strong. This list also goes more heavily on 6-drops and spreading power instead of going tall, as Doctor Doom and Magneto join the list along with mainstays Mockingbird and Alioth. Shadow King, too, joins up for the Thena meta, and this deck admits defeat for Darkhawk matches outside of Shang-Chi in favor of crushing the rest of the meta.
Alioth can be Blob, but that probably doesn’t help. Copycat can be Nocturne, Juggernaut, or Rogue. The remainder is needed.
Kazuma Junk
Deck Thoughts
This deck is just mean. I only saw it in action against the Phoenix Force list above, but that deck had absolutely no chance against all the junk they were forced to destroy and Shadow King wrecking the Phoenix when it did appear.
This deck aims to give the opponent negative power – simple right? It uses White Widow, Hood, and Sentry in concert with Viper and Annihilus to decimate the opponent’s board space. On top of that, Sersi and Mockingbird add enough power to compete on points, too, and having an extra 1-6 in the Demon really helps.
You can do without Nico here – add Titania or Yellowjacket. Nocturne, Debrii and Copycat can be Juggernaut, Shang-Chi, Jeff, Cassandra Nova, or Green Goblin. Mockingbird, Sersi, Anni, and even White Widow are must haves.
Kazuma Sandtriot
Deck Thoughts
While the Arishem deck seemed the strongest, this list is the best positioned into the current metagame. Sandman just rolls a ton of Thena decks and almost anything looking for an explosive final turn a-la bounce. In addition, Ultron and Doctor Doom allow you to go wide at a near-unmatched level, especially when combined with Patriot and Blue Marvel. That isn’t wholly needed though – Brood and Absorbing Man can put up more than enough power. Cassandra Nova and Absorbing Man even give enough power to counter Arishem. This deck is ridiculously good.
You need Cassandra Nova for a chance into Arishem. Jeff can be any good 2-cost card. I’m partial to White Widow, but there’s some argument for Mister Sinister. Iron Lad is a requirement (and in Spotlights in a few weeks with Jeff!). Sizer has convinced me that Wasp should be Blink.
#1 Ranked Decks

Sizer Sandtriot
Deck Thoughts
Speaking of Sizer’s thoughts on Sandman Patriot, here is the list from Beehappy Be Snappy that he used to hit #1 on the Infinite Leaderboard this weekend.
Instead of going over everything, let’s just note differences. Sizer’s list doesn’t use Absorbing Man instead choosing to run Super-Skrull as a way to counter decks that use Ongoing to get too tall. That really hurts against Arishem, as that card with Cassandra was insanely strong there, but the other great change here is Brood for Nocturne. Nocturne is doubtlessly a better card, but this change requires Ultron or Doom for enough power, which is where Blink comes in, as just a huge way to ensure the deck does the thing.
As for changes, see the previous version.
Derek Bounce
Deck Thoughts
Derek was able to hit #1 with an awesome Werewolf Bounce list. This list is powerful – putting up a ton of points with Rocket Raccoon, Demons, and, naturally, Werewolf By Night. Its final form though is a wild combo deck where, with Werewolf out, this deck wants to play Black Swan on Hope Summer along with Falcon or Beast. This allows free 1s to move Werewolf AND enough Energy to drop Ajax and Hazmat together. It’s wild!
Ajax is needed, though Darkhawk and Black Widow or Rockslide could be worth a try. Cassandra Nova is insane in bounce decks, and both she and Nico are needed. As far as Hope Summers and Black Swan go, if you’re missing them, try this version:
Barzy Little Movers
Deck Thoughts
Our final deck for the day is Barzy’s little movers variant. This version has lost some steam since Doctor Octopus’ nerf killed clog and the card is no longer in Arishem, but it’s still one of the best points decks in Marvel Snap.
The list combines early scalers like Thena and Angela with the unpredictability of move cards. Not only can Jeff, Vision, and Nightcrawler move, but they can do so with extra power from Gwenpool or after powering up Angela or granting extra energy with Hope. The deck also does a great job at erasing placement mistakes with Juggernaut and Captain Marvel both as game winners along with the obvious power of Shang-Chi if the opponent gets too big.
This deck is hard to change too much, but Hope OR Thena can be Elsa Bloodstone, and Nocturne can replace Copycat or Jeff.
