Adamantium Infusion is the Super Premium Season Pass card for the December 2025 Season, Weapon X. However, the card will also be obtainable immediately through the Seasonal Series 5 Snap pack.
It is a 4-Cost skill that reads: On Reveal: Revive your highest-Power destroyed card here with its Power doubled.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Series 5 cards can be purchased for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop as the latest Seasonal Spotlight card. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for 5,000 Collector’s Tokens during their season and the following one.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Adamantium Infusion doesn’t speak to me from a design standpoint, as this type of card typically is too fragile in the face of disruption to become a reliable way to develop points. However, compared to a Man-Spider or Shuri, the new skill has some major upsides, especially when it comes to the different timings we have available to play it.

Even if you play Nimrod on turn five, you could still play Adamantium Infusion on turn six after you used Carnage to destroy your 5-cost. However, if you managed to destroy Nimrod before, with Kid Omega or using some way to ramp, you can now pair Adamantium Infusion with Carnage on turn six to destroy your boosted Nimrod.
Thanks to Carnage, we have a 2-cost we can pair with Adamantium Infusion to use our skill on turn six. This is a huge upside compared to similar cards, as it enlarges the window of opportunity we have to play the skill.

The goal with Adamantium Infusion is for the skill to win us the location we play it at. We will probably build our entire deck around that synergy, so we need to find as many cards able to work in that direction. Amongst those, Kid Omega is very high on the list, as it is another destroy related card looking to synergize with high power allies.
Plus, Kid Omega is another card on top of Carnage allowing to plan to destroy a 5-cost card. With Kid Omega on the board, we can simply activate it on turn five to destroy a Black Panther we will revive with Adamantium Infusion the next turn. If that 2-cost failed to show up, we can still play Carnage plus Adamantium Infusion on turn six, effective moving our 5-cost to another location and doubling its power.
Otherwise, something as simple as Kid Omega on turn two, a high power 3-cost (Gladiator or Cassandra Nova) and Adamantium Infusion on curve would lead to quite a lot of power on top of solid disruption of our opponent’s deck.
Another card we could use similarly is Zombie Captain Marvel, although that one still has a lot to prove, and does not synergize with high power cards like Kid Omega does.
Venom also deserves to be mentioned when it comes to destroying high power card. Yet, considering we need to play the target first, and cannot pair it with Adamantium Infusion on turn six without extra energy, this one is a bit more unflexible.

This is a very niche synergy, but one clicking on multiple levels :
- High power cards are great to seize priority for Galactus later on.
- Galactus will destroy all our other cards, including the high power ones we used for priority.
- Adamantium Infusion will revive our highest-power card on the sole location left for a lot of points.
Reviving a Cull Obsidian or Gladiator with Adamantium Infusion is more than enough to represent a ton of points behind Galactus.
Shang-Chi has become a rare inclusion since being nerfed, meaning Destroyer is much safer to use early than it was in the past. In that context, we could ramp to play Destroyer on turn five, assume that location is under control, and use Adamantium Infusion to revive a high-power card for the second location.
The Verdict: Should You Get Adamantium Infusion ?
I don’t believe Adamantium Infusion will become a new staple in Destroy archetypes. At best, it will be a niche card used for specific synergies. However, that niche could be good enough to make Adamantium Infusion a decent purchase.
Go for it if you enjoy Nimrod, or Destroy based shenanigans.

Adamantium Infusion Decks
There aren’t many decks to experiment around Adamantium Infusion, with none being particularly great at the moment. However, these niches are unique strategies that could represent a nice change of pace for those looking to explore new concepts :
