The new bundle in Marvel Snap doesn’t offer any significant value and can be easily skipped to save 2,000 Gold. If you’re curious why that’s the case, let’s discuss it now.
Guide
The price of the bundle is 2,000 Gold, which is roughly what a F2P player earns in one season. And what do you get for that amount of Gold? Just 2,500 Credits, which you can always buy directly in the shop or by purchasing missions for the same amount.
Therefore, the bundle has 100% Progress Value or 0% additional value (except for the 25 Credits “discount” on the CL track).
Comparison With Other Bundles
Due to its low Progress Value, the Web Shredder bundle is predictably below average compared to other bundles, both over the past six months for Gold bundles and over the past year for bundles in the same price category.
This already suggests that it’s probably not worth getting the Web Shredder bundle, especially since we’ve been seeing bundles more frequently with at least 113% Progress Value.
Since a large quantity of Credits in bundles without Tokens isn’t common, the Web Shredder bundle ranks quite high on the chart. And it’s true – if you’re looking to get Credits specifically through a bundle, this isn’t a bad option.
However, with the basic conversion of 1 Gold to 1.25 Credits, the bundle doesn’t offer an advantage upon purchase, unlike, for example, the previously released The One Who Knocks bundle.
In other words, you have the potential to spend Gold on Credits more efficiently than the Web Shredder bundle with its basic value.
In terms of one of the most important parameters – new Series 5 cards per 700 Gold for players with nearly complete collections – the Web Shredder bundle looks quite bad.
It not only offers significantly fewer cards than many other bundles and falls below the average value, but it also provides fewer cards compared to purchasing Collector’s Tokens in the token shop when lacking currency to buy a card, due to the lower Progress Value of Credits in such comparisons.
So if you want more value in terms of the number of Series 5 cards in the long run, this bundle isn’t the best option.
The Usefulness of the Variant in the Meta
Spider-Woman is a Pool 1 card, so everyone has her, and there’s no additional value to gain from the variant. Moreover, she’s a relatively weak and rarely played card in the current meta. The only somewhat competitive archetype that occasionally includes Spider-Woman is Ajax Affliction. Even then, other cards are usually more preferable.
For those newcomers who still decide to buy the bundle for the variant (which I absolutely don’t recommend), below is a budget On Reveal deck that utilizes Spider-Woman‘s ability quite well.
Conclusion
Thus, the bundle doesn’t offer any special value, lacks potential value from the variant, and overall isn’t a great deal if you’re looking for more value in terms of the number of cards.
Therefore, the bundle rating is 1 out of 5 stars.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Web Shredder bundle page! Below is a detailed guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
