Holding cards then dumping them is the name of the game with Wakandan Embassy. So you want a handful of cards ready for the buff on turns 1, 2 and 3. This makes this week’s choice for Pool 1 easy. KA-ZOO. My favourite deck will do wonders in this location and we can swap in a few cards which benefit.

Think about adding Armor if you’re new into Pool 2 and expecting Killmongers. Jessica Jones could be a extra turn 4 play if looking to deviate slightly from this list.

Mister Sinister also slots in well today as it represents 2 energy for + 8 power if you hit it just right.

Plan to hold cards where you can until after turn 3 (when you will know if your getting the benefit) then plan on turn 5 and turn 6 to dump the cards to get the most out of this deck.

America Chavez is the back up plan. The ideal line is Ka-Zar, Blue Marvel, and then play your other cards on 6. If you don’t draw Blue Marvel you can play your other cards on 5 then Chavez on 6. Chavez has the added benefit for this location of never being drawn before turn 6 leading to your other cards getting the buff.

This deck is hoping to use the Wakandan Embassy buff to hit Swarm and then Discard it for multiple 5 power Swarms.

A lot of cards are much better when hit by +2 power, such as Bishop and Morbius. That starting power then the scaling means including these two as cards which can be played to make for a better Discard a turn later is beneficial.

The real change here is dropping Apocalypse for America Chavez. We don’t want to hit Apocalypse with the buffs and it gives one more turn to set up a big Swarm Discard turn. Additionally, Chavez allows for the deck to more consistently draw the Discard pieces it needs to win on time.

Turn 5 you can drop Blade + Lady Sif or Sword Master and another 1 drop, leading to high likelihood the Swarm is going to be multiplied. Then Turn 6 allows you to play two 2 to 4 Swarms and America Chavez.

Other than this, most decks will gain some upside from the location without too much downside. The main recommendation here therefore is to make slight changes to your deck to fit the location.

Consider cards which take advantage of the buffs but don’t need it to win he game. Mister Sinister and Brood stand out.

Also you should consider almost any deck which has Sera. All the cards you play on turn 6 get +2 power and that’s huge.

Finally if you have cards you want to hit with the buff, consider adding America Chavez to make it more likely you draw the right cards before the location flips over.

Landed on Patriot combo as recommendation number 1 to check out during this Hot Location. The deck has a game-ending combo based around raw stats.

The buff isn’t wasted on any of these cards and can also be valuable if it lands on Patriot or Mystique. Mister Sinister and Brood take the most advantage and slotting these in allows us to lose Doctor Doom and Ultron making room for Wave and Sera!

Sera allows for a bunch of stuff from be dropped on the last turn, whilst Wave can allow for an early Onslaught or early Magik , setting up for the late game.

In a perfect world, the line is some combination of – Wave on 3, Sera on 4, Magik on 5, Onslaught on 6 with Mister Sinister, Mystique,  Patriot and Brood on 7.

Black Panther has obvious synergy with the location. The other cards in this deck might not seem like they do, but all can make use of +2 power.

The quick becoming a standard Wong, Black Panther and Arnim Zola combo should remain solid during this Hot Location.
