Camp Lehigh Featured Location Guide: Strategy, Best Cards and Decks
This week’s Marvel Snap Featured Location is Camp Lehigh: Add a random 3-Cost card to each player’s hand. This is a brand new location for Marvel Snap’s February 2023 Into the Quantum Realm Season, now added to the Location pool. For the next 48 hours, it will show up 40% more frequently in games. Let’s find out what the best strategies, cards, and decks are, with updated decks for the latest patch!

What is Camp Lehigh?

Camp Lehigh was the location of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s first base of operations. It was also where the Tesseract and Arnim Zola’s mind were stored. After Hydra bombed and destroyed the army base, it was eventually rebuilt and, as with all good facilities of old, became the home of conventions (including AvengerCon).
Strategy
This location is a relatively simple one, and many will be happy to hear that this location may not require any significant changes for your current decks. The effect happens on location reveal, so there is no avoiding the card entering your hand.
We already have similar effects in the game such as The Hub, which adds a random card to each player’s hand, The Daily Bugle, which gives each player a card from their opponent’s hand, and The Triskelion, which is like The Hub on steroids.

Camp Lehigh is somewhere in the middle of these locations in terms of impact. There are a few advantages to the location worth considering:
- It adds an additional card to your hand which will buff The Collector if on board.
- The additional card in your hand helps with maintaining the size of Devil Dinosaur.
- It adds an additional card to your opponent’s hand and helps maintain its size as well.
- You (and your opponent) will always have a card to play on turn 3.
So instead of solid recommendations this week, let’s highlight some deck lists that gain strength from the location and are worth exploring in the current meta, regardless of the location.

Card and Deck Ideas
The best versions of these lists are starting to be built with Series 4 and 5 cards. Where they are not the required for the strategy I will include a note on what cards to swap in.
Devil Dinosaur
The best version of this deck right now has to be the Darkhawk version. This is because you have two solid targets for Mystique in Devil Dinosaur and Darkhawk. Zabu allows you to start using your 4 drops earlier, and the same cards maintain your hand size for Devil Dinosaur.
If you don’t have Darkhawk, you can replace Korg, Rockslide, Darkhawk, and Mystique with more cards that help you win lanes and maintain your Devil Dinosaur.
Ronan the Accuser
The recent meta breakout Aggressive Sandman deck gains an advantage from the card added to your opponent’s hand. This allows us to consider testing Ronan the Accuser in the build as another card in the 5 energy slot that has an added boost when the location shows up.
Additionally, when this deck misses on Sandman, your turn four can sometimes be empty, but Camp Lehigh gives you a card to use as a bridge to the Captain Marvel and Doctor Doom slots.
The Collector
This last deck is here as a fun example of going all in on the S.H.I.E.L.D. cards for the S.H.I.E.L.D. location. This version of the archetype, commonly referred to as Bounce, hopes to give you lots of random options to carve your gameplan with while maintaining a solid Beast and Devil Dinosaur plan.
Titania may look out of place here, but since your hand will be full of random cards you will often have extra energy to use on the final turn, and having this cheap, five-power bomb to play will help you win some lanes you otherwise couldn’t beat.
What You Should Play
If you have the cards, Thanos Lockjaw decks should get the largest boost from the location. The Infinity Stones are excellent cycle cards that add effects you want into the deck and allow for greedy top end cards.
