Guide

Possibly one of the most contentious Bundles so far, Angela and Sera are two of the most powerful cards in Marvel Snap that warranted a nerf in the November 29 patch (their powers decreased by 1). The Bundle also offers a very unique Variant style that should be appealing to many.

The 3850 Gold bundle from the Shop is $49.99 USD, and we get 3200 Gold worth of Credit. This values the Variants and Avatars at around 650 Gold, which comes to around $8.50, less than the price of one Rare Variant from the Daily Offer. You could say it’s a decent deal if the Variants are your style and the cards are ones you can see enjoy playing in the future.

Even with the nerf, we rate Sera as a S Tier Series 3 card that can be used in a lot of decks, though a lot of players are starting to play around these type of decks pretty well through the use of tech cards like Sandman or Leech – or simply Retreating.

Keep in mind the following points before purchasing Bundles:

  • The new maximum Credit storage limit is 10000
  • Variants offered in Bundles are exclusive and are likely not offered through other sources

You may also want to plan ahead and find out what other Bundles are upcoming and save your resources for until the one you like comes along. Find all the upcoming Bundles here (subject to change when they are released):

  1. Feedback: y’all need to provide more analysis to justify an article like this. The very LEAST you could do is provide some number crunching regarding credits to gold ratio. As is, you’re just recapping the bundle and saying Sera is good. What about players who already have Sera? Is it worth buying for them?

The article doesn’t even answer the question of “Is it worth buying?” If you’re going to title it that way, at least propose an answer.

    • Yeah, this seemed like an auto-buy at $20, but the prices the other way around make a lot more sense. Might still be worth it for these variants, which are some of my favorites, but that’s a lot of cash.

  2. Not worth it for players that have finished Pool 3, in my opinion, 4k credits gets you just 6 caches (assuming 600 credits per cache). The Pool 4 drop rate is 1 card in 40 caches.
