Sparky is the Super Premium Season Pass card for the September 2025 Season, Visions of the Future. However, the card will also be obtainable immediately through the Seasonal Series 5 Snap pack. It is a 2-Cost, 1-Power card that reads: Activate: Give your card that last moved +3 Power and move it back to its previous location.

Today, let’s explore the new card strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Sparky is a bit special as it is the Premium Season Pass card. One can get the base card alongside a Variant through the Premium Season Pass. It will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 5 Snap Pack for 5,000 Collector’s Tokens during their season and the following one.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Moving back is a very specific ability, as it immediately connects Sparky with cards looking to move multiple times. Indeed, Sparky won’t move anything on its own, it simply enhances a previous motion with a bonus 3 power and a trip back to the previous location.

In Marvel Snap, only six cards benefit from moving multiple times, which isn’t a lot. Fortunately, most of them can all be played in the same deck, allowing for the perfect environment to include Sparky in.
In the Pure Move deck, we just have to find what to remove, and Sparky can immediately enter the build and contribute to generating points. Something as simple as sending back Human Torch to Madame Web to keep the 3-cost moving is huge already, as it would grow Human Torch to 36 power.
As a 2-cost support card, Sparky competes with Cloak if we believe the new 2-cost would do a better job. Otherwise, we could keep Cloak in the mix and add another Move card to the deck, then replacing Cosmo or Alioth.
I would vouch for Alioth, since the deck already has Heimdall or Cosmo plus Hydra Stomper as options for that last turn.
The Verdict: Should You Get Sparky?
With obvious synergies and a prebuilt deck, on top of other Move archetypes such as Big Move or Bounce Move, Sparky looks like a can’t miss card. Yes, but that’s not really the point with the new 2-cost.
Marvel Snap does not give us cards, it trades them for our Tokens or money. Then, what we should ask is whether Sparky improves a Move deck to the point we are willing to spend 5,000 tokens for it.
I believe Sparky will be a fantastic card alongside Human Torch, as the bonus 3 power is reminiscent of Araña before her nerf. However, I don’t know whether Move as a synergy needs more points to thrive. After all, we are not using Hercules.
If you feel differently, Sparky is a great card to purchase. If you don’t, maybe it’s best to just wait for the new doggo to naturally come to us while we open Snap Packs.
Pre-Release Score:
Sparky Decks
No surprise regarding the decks we can build with Sparky : The holy trinity of Move archetypes.
For the more daring deckbuilders, we could also try to revive the Phoenix Force archetype, although I don’t think Sparky is what the deck needs.
It is also pretty simple to build a Series 3 friendly Move deck for Sparky :

Conclusion
Just like Moira X, the other card releasing in the Series 5 Seasonal Snap Pack, Sparky pushes for a specific synergy. Then, we need to ask ourselves two questions to figure if we want to spend for Sparky:
- Do we want to play Move decks?
- Do we think Move decks require Sparky to thrive?
If you answered yes to both questions, then Sparky is probably worth your resources. Otherwise, there are plenty of cool cards to play with in Marvel Snap.
I hope this review of the new card was helpful. You can find everyone on the Marvel Snap Zone team in our community discord to have a chat or ask any questions.
Good Game Everyone!
