Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

Prodigy is good, but good of a similar quality to Kahhori last month. He’s a card that does a powerful thing, but a decent amount needs to go right to make that thing really work. Most decks that use him – Silver Surfer, Scream, Agamtto – use him as a 12th card. That means you won’t usually really need him; he gives some nice upside and may even be in the best versions of those decks, but as a three, he’s easily cut and replaced.
In fact, there’s only one deck to me where he’s felt pivotal right now.
Roram is quietly one of the very best deck-builders in Marvel Snap. He always has something interesting and off-meta to try that almost always works, and as such, it’s no surprise that he figured out the secret sauce to Prodigy.
The trick for this deck for Prodigy is that he has so many targets with which he can power spike. Thanks to Sam Wilson’s shield, it’s easy to get him on key cards like Quinjet (-2 for everything Moon Girl makes), Captain Carter (+6 for the back row), or Moonstone (triple all your Ongoings in that lane) are all absolutely great, but you can do worse than grabbing a Victoria Hand if you’re playing Moongirl, or a Captain America for an extra +6, or even just another Goliath to power spike a lane.
This deck is about options. You can win like an Ongoing deck or go off with Moon Girl for power spikes, and Prodigy bridges the gap, making either an effective strategy, one that Prodigy makes viable.
