Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.
Our winner of the Season Pass from last week is RobbieRob! Check your comment on the article from last week, please.

I think Kahhori is an incredibly exciting card. With almost no work, she’s going to be a 4-10, which is pretty fantastic. She hits cards already on the board, spreading power around, keeping her likely Shang Chi proof, and while Shadow King may be a problem, her ability to hit different lanes protects a good bit there.
She’s a comparable card to Gwenpool and Galacta, too. I doubt she gets quite as good as the latter, but the former? Gwenpool is potentially a 4-12, but she often hits the wrong targets – cards that don’t get played. By hitting the board, Kahorri avoids that problem, and with a little help in terms of card generation, can easily make a 4-12 in stats thanks to cards like Kate Bishop or Agent Coulson.
Kahorri is also very easy to re-trigger with a huge positive impact. I think her best friend, along with Zabu, will be Grandmaster, as another huge immediate buff to the board seems like a Snap condition, as does Grandmaster + Zabu making her potentially a 2-12. That means she may go with, rather than replace Gwenpool. She can be retriggered in other ways – notably Odin, Wong, Misery, and Absorbing Man, which seemingly also gives her an On Reveal deck as a home.
Kahhori doesn’t have a ton of absolutely amazing targets. In fact, only four really come to mind. Sebastian Shaw can easily become around a 3-19 with this card, a lane winner and insanely powerful threat, if one that’s going to draw Shang Chi a ton. To double the buff, we have Scarlet Spider or Iron Man, though the curve, especially for the latter, can be awkward. And finally, to make sure the buff really counts, we get Captain Marvel. None of these rock my world, and Galacta taught us that stats are often enough although I am excited to try her in a Silver Surfer deck with Shaw and maybe Daken.
Yes, I think Kahhori is going to be great. There’s a ton of stuff to test, and she’s guaranteed to at least be good power- a high floor and a high ceiling.
The deck I want to start with for this card on stream tonight is Derek’s Season Passler. This was one of the best decks last season, and everyone seemingly just gave up on it.
In order to test this list, I’m cutting Shang Chi and Iron Patriot for Kahorri and Grandmaster. I’m unsure if the Shang cut is right, but Iron Patriot just has less value than Kate Bishop with Kahorri, especially as Kate gives extra 1s to buff with Gwenpool or Galacta. Shang may be too important to do without, and previous versions of this list ran 4 four drops, but for now, I’m keeping Copycat to see how everything feels. That card could also become Shadow King, though. Losing buffs with that card is annoying, but there’s a lot of strength buff everywhere and you can always choose where to play him cheaply.
Grandmaster here seems wildly strong. I can follow up Zabu with him, making Galacta, Gwenpool, Images of Ikonn, and Kahorri 2-Cost if they’re in deck. I can happily hit a Gwenpool or Kahorri for big power spikes, and if Zabu was played, even do both of those in the same turn. There are games, even, where retriggering Juggernaut in the middle lane will win.
Outside of that, I’m excited as to what Agamotto adds here. Bolts of Balthakk can allow for two of the four drops in one turn to spike power. Images of Ikkon may be best with Kahhori though, as suddenly having three of the card on turn 5 is around a +15 in power.
I really can’t wait for this card!
