Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

Elixir went from a 1-1 Activate in datamines to… this. As a 2-3 that has to hit a card destroyed last turn, this card seems very hard to use. It requires you to commit to a big destroy on turn 4 or 5 and then still have the time to play a 2-3 thereafter. Figuring out how and where to play this is anything but easy – he has some mild Jeeeeet13 style Phoenix Force or Misery decks, and if Nimrod has 7 turns, he can get you back an extra Nimrod or destroy card.
Eventually, though, he’ll probably be good. Datamined is Kid Omega:
Kid Omega gives us a way to play this effectively. Functionally, we can play a big or important card, get its power with Kid Omega, then bring it back the next turn with Elixir. If Kid Omega comes out, there will be cooking. If not, Elixir… well, this is going to be a strange week.
Elixir is 100% an extra card in this deck, which has two play patterns
Pattern 1 is simple – Shuri or Galacta on Nimrod, then destroy it twice. You get 9 or 12 power Nimrods all over the board, especially if one destroy is Venom (ugh, I really want Kid Omega!), and suddenly we have a powerful board that can be incredibly difficult to beat.
The other play will require Magik since Taskmaster is now a 6. The idea is to play Invisible Woman in one lane and Shuri in another. You can then Taskmaster on the Invisible Woman without using your Shuri buff. Play Destroyer on Shuri for a 35 Power lane, then Taskmaster will reveal and copy the Destroyer for another 32 Power.
Card Replacements
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Echo
- Turn 2: Invis (on Echo) or Echo
- Turn 3: Magik> 2
- Turn 4: Shuri > Galacta
- Turn 5: Nimrod on Shuri or Galacta’d… if Luna, Taskmaster on Invis
- Turn 6: 2 Destroys on Nimrod or Destroyer on Shuri
Thanos for stopping by! I’ll be streaming every Elixir deck I can find tonight at Twitch.tv/PulseGlazer!
