Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

In the most recent OTA, Cerebro was buffed to giving +3 Power. At this point, Cerebro is the best stat check deck in the game, and while Cerebro 3 is quite good, Cerebro 2 is a cut above.
A lot of Cerebro 2’s power comes from Storm being back to a 3-2. That change allows for a location to be shut down and won win minimal commitment. Turning Storm and another 2 Power card to 8 ( through Cerebro and Mystique) is enough to win most lanes while making the deck extremely difficult to interact with.
The other big power Cerebro 2 has over others is it has the easiest way to scale up Cerebro’s power. Mister Sinister, Brood, and Lasher all amplify the buffs they recieve, making the +6 double or triple. Lasher plays for a 2-16 – peak Scream power with so much less work.
The deck also protects itself reasonably well, though Invisible Woman in C3 is best for that. Cerebro, Mystique, and Luke Cage can hide behind a Goose, keeping them safe from Enchantress without Zabu or Surge luck though Red Guardian and Rogue are a concern. In order to stop those cards, it’s fairly easy to throw priority, though, as before Cerebro and Mystique, you have very little power. Simply drop those cards at the end of the game, and watch the numbers shoot up.
Rogue and Echo give you good tech into mirrors while Nico is a swiss army knife, allowing Cerebro to buff itself, a copy of a key card, or an extra location change.
This deck’s core power is in going wide and stat checking. It’s not unbeatable, but when Silver Surfer was a 3-0 that gave a +3 buff, its deck had the best stats in the history of Marvel Snap. Cerebro is more limited than that, but with tis suite of tools, it’s the ultimate stat check deck, one that has simply outpowered and chased away Thanos Ongoing, the previous best deck at that feat. Either play this, or have a solid plan to beat it.

- Turn 2: Goose > Lasher > Sinister
- Turn 3: Storm > Luke or Brood pending
- Turn 4: 2 of Lasher/Sinister/Goose > 3 (Storm moves up if you need the location change)
- Turn 5: 3+2 (Brood and previous turn)
- Turn 6: 3+3 (Cerebro + Mystique/Rogue/Brood)
