Snap Judgments Deck of the Day: Best Strange Supreme that Isn’t Thanos!

Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Unhelpful Yoda had a win rate in the high 60s when he sent me this list. I played it on Stream last night to a 9-1 record, and then ToxicSoulKing went 3-1 before his internet died, and Chamo played it to climb rank in the top 5, though I don’t have immediate access to his stats. All that is to say, this deck is absolutely legit.

The Cook-style decks (peak cringe deck naming from former player Barzy) have existed for quite a while, but they were forced to tread lightly on their ways to discount Mockingbird or Sasquatch due to board space. That meant compromises like Mysterio but no Squirrel Girl or Shanna lest you clog yourself. Strange Supreme solves that problem for you, eating any extra cards that get in the way.

Marvel Boy and Gwenpool offer two alternative scaling options, too. With Shanna and Squirrel Girl, Marvel Boy can play for 13 or so extra power, power that’s maintained even as those cards are eaten by Strange Supreme. Gwenpool is here mostly to hit Mysterio, turning that card into a 2-10 with just one hit, but any unpredictable scaling power here is good.

The last turn is intended to be a play of Sasquatch and Mockingbird, which is obviously incredibly strong. If Strange Supreme is safe, protected by Cosmo or against a deck that doesn’t run tech, you can even stack them up for a suddenly crazy overpowered lane.

Turn by Turn

1. Turn 1: Pass but Squirrel if Marvel Boy
2. Turn 2: Strange > Sam > Kate = Mysterio if Sas
3. Turn 3: Marvel Boy if Squrrels, Sas is Mysterio, Cosmo or Shanna if Strange 
4. Turn 4: Gwenpool > earlier plays
5. Turn 5: Mysterio+ or all Kate’s arrows… basically a lot of cards.
6. Turn 6: Sasquatch and Mockingbird
