Snap Judgments Deck of the Day: BastiOnGoing Rules!

Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

Bastion is Marvel Snap’s newest card. It’s job is to turn cards on the board into 2-3s in your hand (without bouncing them). This is obviously extremely powerful, and when Mobius M Mobius isn’t in the meta, it seems like a wildly strong and consistent card. The best Ongoing cards in the game love this – Victoria Hand and Cerebro are Obvious, but Moonstone, Mystique, Iron Man and so many more absolutely love Bastion.

The best home for Bastion is likely to be Victoria Hand. The logic here is pretty simple – she’s probably the best deck in the game right now, so another powerful tool seems like a great place to start. She didn’t win Golden Gauntlet, so people are sleeping on her, but her decks were 2 of the Top 4 and 5 of the top 15. She’s the best.

This deck uses Bastion to get extra Victoria Hand copies. It’s happy to grab a Hood, but the extra Victoria Hand copies are the goal and can be combined with Frigga and Nico Minoru. It’s not fancy, just powerful. Enjoy.

Bastion is a 4, so I choose this version to modify. It runs Zabu for Shang-Chi, Misery, Enchantress, and Juggernaut… so I took out Enchantress (we may prefer to remove Shang for this week) and away we go with Bastion.

Turn by Turn

1. Turn 1: Zabu > Quinjet/Hood pending hand
2. Turn 2: Vicky if Frigga > Mirage = IP > 1+1
3. Turn 3: Frigga or Burs Combo > other plays
4. Turn 4: Bastion or Misery or 2+2 (Vicky last)
5. Turn 5: Bastion/Misery+1 or Hand/Frigga… or just generate cards.
6. Turn 6: Go off. Keep Shang/Jugg in mind.
