Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

Xorn needs another target pretty badly. As is, with two real targets – Vulture and Redwing – he’s just… kinda fine. He’s important for one turn, maybe two, but otherwise just sits there. Hydra Stomper alleviates some of this problem, but draw order and lack of targets put a severe cap on this card’s short-term outlook.
When Elixir came out, I started testing Nimrod, and while Elixir was a cut, going all in on Nimrod proved to be a very effective strategy one I’m now 5-0 in Conquest with and have a 71% Win Rate with on Ladder.
The strategy is simple – buff Nimrod, destroy him twice – but there’s fun to getting there. The buff can come from Galacta, Shuri, or Symbiote Spider-Man, and each game can call for a different buff card. If you worry about Red Guardian, Shuri is best. with a card like Juggernaut or Magneto a concern, use Galacta, and Symbiote is the best one lane- make something huge option – and he leads to people playing around Galactus, which is extra nice.
Destroying Nimrod is simple – you have Venom, Carnage, and Deathlook… and soon Kid Omega. That’s plenty of options, with Venom being the best of them since he retains power. In fact, Venom is so good, and clog is just annoying enough that Grandmaster for double Venom is a lane and game winning play.
The other two important combo cards here are Magik and Crystal – you really need the extra turns and to draw into your combo, but that should happen in more than 75% of games.
That leaves us with Surge – good for getting out the 4s early, and Killmonger – here because clog is annoyingly prevelant. These two are the swing cards – Galactus, Attuma, Arnim Zola, Zabu, and plenty of other options exist. Mix and match to your heart’s content.
