Hello everyone and welcome to Sleeper Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite Sleeper Decks this week. In addition to the podcast (this week’s episode goes over the Top 10 Things Marvel Snap Players Need to Know featuring ItsGuestGaming and BigMath!), I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the net (ahem Twitter and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.
Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!
Werewolf By Night is Awesome

The new card isn’t an archetype to himself, but he fits in a variety of places – Loki, Silver Surfer, Hit Monkey – and in all of them, is an all star.
Lamby’s Loki by Night
Deck Thoughts: Lamby took this deck and climbed to the #2 overall leaderboard rank with it. More, it then became a top 2 Conquest Infinity deck for the week although it remains hard to pilot.
The synergies here are obvious. Loki and Bounce decks overlap in their use of The Collector and one-cost cards like Nico Minoru, but now they further overlap since Werewolf By Night loves all those on reveal cards. Werewolf, The Collector, Forge, and Elsa Bloodstone all provide power while Shang-Chi takes that power away from the opponent. The rest of the deck is just card generation for the nigh-unstoppable Loki.
You need Loki and Werewolf for this version of the deck. Nico, Snowguard, and Elsa are great, but all replaceable. I’d start with Sentinel and Quinjet, then look at Agent 13.

Surfer by Night
Deck Thoughts: As a 3-cost card that cares about on reveal effects, Silver Surfer is an obvious home for Werewolf By Night, and early on this was the strongest build. Now, the best version likely includes Sera, but this is still an excellent shell.
The gist here is that move cards that have on reveal effects offer an absolute ton of power to Werewolf, while Miles Morales is also a [1/5] in that case, and Kraven can grow. There’s also a lot of control to this build. We have Snowguard for locations, Spider-Ham to wreck one of their cards, Shadow King to take away power, Juggernaut to lock down a lane, and Nico for a dose of unpredictability. Surfer finishes the package – this is both excellent and very hard to beat.
Nico Minoru is great, but replaceable here with anything from Forge to Iron Fist. Snowguard is great, and very important if you aren’t running Sera, but, well, you can just run Sera. Finally, Werewolf is absolutely needed, so play him.

Werewolf By Thors
Deck Thoughts: Bit Twiddle, my friend and graphics guy, put together this beast of a deck.
Last month, we learned that Thor and Jane Foster (along with 0-cost cards) have hidden synergy with Hit Monkey. Well, that synergy is made all the more impressive when two of those 0-cost cards (Mjölnir and Yellowjacket) have on reveal effects. This bounces Werewolf By Night all over unpredictably, making it very hard for the opponent to stop, especially when combined with a giant Hit Monkey and suddenly 10 power Thor.
The deck also offers a bit of control with the suddenly relevant again Spider-Ham and new top tech card, Shadow King. All of these cards are super cheap, and because of that, Falcon on 5 can act as a backup Jane Foster. This deck has a ton of plays and outputs huge power with even a reasonable curve.
Nico Minoru could be Forge, and Spider-Ham works as Iceman. There are no replacements for Werewolf and Hit Monkey.

Two Big Bads Can Still Compete
The Johnson-inspired Thanos decks with Professor X and Elsa are still great, but we also now have powerful Ongoing builds thanks to the buffed Spectrum. Meanwhile, without Mobius, High Evolutionary InSheNaut has become the Infinity Conquest deck with the best stats.

Interrobang Thanos
Deck Thoughts: Interrobang, streamer and organizer of the Marvel Snap Twitter community, figured out how to brew a bunch of powerful ongoing cards into Thanos.
This deck has powerful Professor X synergy, as a lane he loses can be buffed by Klaw or Blue Marvel. Elsa Bloodstone, Blue Marvel, Ant-Man, and Mojo all benefit from going wide, too.
They go pretty tall as well with the new Spectrum, but when that doesn’t work, Valkyrie and that many Ongoings do a great job of taking over a lane. If you’re having trouble with Shuri + Red Skull, this is the deck for you.
Elsa is super important here, and you’re going to need Thanos for this deck.
If you want a turn-by-turn on how to play the deck, check the video linked in the title.
InSheNaut
Deck Thoughts: She-Hulk was chased from the meta by Mobius M. Mobius, but with that less of a concern, this toxic build is back.
The deck starts the game by passively building a lead using cards like Cyclops, Sunspot, and Misty Knight. It can also add a bit of control and safety to that, especially against destroy with Cosmo and Armor. This is a prelude to either making a 6-cheaper with Shocker or playing Magik.
After Magik, the deck can Leech, pass on 6, then drop She-Hulk and Hulk or The Infinaut. The Shocker play on a 6-cost card allows the same turn (with a pass on 5) on turn 6, not 7. Few decks can stand up to that kind of power.
All-Star Patriot is Back!
Patriot has always put a lot of power on the board, and this week, two of our favorite creators used it with tech to climb high in the post-Infinite rankings.
W Tech Patriot
Deck Thoughts: Even after all this time, Patriot is one of the best decks for outputting a ton of power all over the board, and it’s also a pretty darn good counter deck to Loki, as if they don’t get the Patriot himself, the deck doesn’t have the oomph to go over the top, even when it’s cheaper.
This one is pretty simple – get out Patriot and choose to either go wide with Brood and Mister Sinister or Doctor Doom and Ultron. This version, though, also uses a lot of tech cards to beat opponents – Shadow King, Killmonger, Super Skrull. These are hard to play last turn when there are important six-cost cards in the deck, so Invisible Woman lets you play them early, but still get max effect late.
Iron Lad is the only high-series card here. It’s extremely hard to replace, but you can try Jubilee or Shang-Chi.
Check the vid for the play-by-play.
Quinee Patriot
Deck Thoughts: Quinee climbed 10k ranks with this absolute cube stealer of a deck. There’s probably something to tech Patriot right now when two of the smartest people in the game are using it to climb.
The brilliance of this deck lies in one trick. After Invisible Woman is played, Absorbing Man behind her leads to an absolutely crazy amount of cubes. If the last play of the game is Doctor Doom or Shang-Chi, Abs will reveal and copy them. Opponents are rarely ready for an extra 7-power Doombot in each lane or to have two of their big cards Shanged to death. The rest of this one plays out like the W deck above.
Nico is our one high-series card here, and could, as usual, be Forge.
Miscellaneous Decks
These are powerful decks that didn’t fit in the other categories for the week. Don’t let the section title fool you – these are some of the best decks this week!
Dera Junk
Deck Thoughts: Dera is one of the best players in the world and has been playing this Junk deck to counter Loki at high Infinite.
This deck abuses Doctor Octopus to fill opponent lanes, then can use Ghost-Spider or Shang-Chi to turn those lanes into wins. Debrii, Green Goblin, Black Widow, and Viper provide clog and leave Loki, especially Werewolf Loki, with very little room to play. This does die pretty hard to Destroy, but beyond that, its matchups are surprisingly good. In three weeks when Annihilus comes out, this is the shell I’m starting with.
Ghost-Spider is irreplaceable, but Sunspot is a good card to try. Jeff the Baby Landshark is probably better as Nico Minoru, but in either case, you can replace them with Nightcrawler if you need to.
You know the drill – turn by turn in the link above.
ChaosPro Cerebro 2
Deck Thoughts: This brew by ChaosPro is just cool. Nico Minoru here is absolutely awesome. She can give Cerebro 2 power, make a Cerebro copy, destroy a cheap card (ideally X-23) to draw two extra cards, and help change a bad location… the card is a must-have for Cerebro lovers.
The rest here is fairly self-explanatory. Play 2-cost cards, buff them with Cerebro and Mystique- win. We have a bit of extra control here- Storm locks down a location and you can still buff it while Goose takes out your opponent’s big plays and Hazmat removes their power. Cerebro 2 is always a sleeper, but this build just feels so good!
Nico is needed, but X-23 can be Brood. I’m personally not a Yondu fan, just for the record, and would replace that with Echo, Iceman, or Utatu. Magik is also often worth a look.
Hela Tribunal
Deck Thoughts: This is one card from the SafetyBlade original. Snap Orange got an Infinity border with it this week, and Sino got Infinite with it. This deck is absolutely great.
Essentially, you put out Invisible Woman then put MODOK and Hela behind her. Magik buys you an extra turn to hit the combo, and you can put Hela there without seeing MODOK, then aim for MODOK with Iron Lad or Jubilee. You can also put Iron Man, Onslaught, and The Living Tribunal into a lane and profit.
Play this deck if you have The Living Tribunal and MODOK. You can’t replace them, but outside of the opponent’s moving you, cards like Goose and Cosmo, and Alioth, this is very hard to stop.
