Hello everyone and welcome to Sleeper Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite Sleeper Decks this week. In addition to the podcast (this week’s episode has the Top 10 Decks EVER in Marvel Snap with LambySeries, PeacefulSea, and Savage Yeti!), I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the net (ahem Twitter and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.
Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!
Is Ms. Marvel the Best Card in Snap?

Ms. Marvel goes in everything now. [4/15] is the meta, and you need to either pack answers for it, run it, or both.
W Locked On
Deck Thoughts:
W is the genius deck builder behind DoomWave, the Ms. Marvel Guardians, and Psylocke in Thanos, so when he releases a deck, the meta sits up to notice.
This deck isn’t completely crazy. We covered decks that are reasonably similar from both Hela Enjoyer and our own SafetyBlade in the past. W always has spice though, and, in this case, that spice is Lockdown combined with the Ongoing tech. Locked-down lanes are very easy to win with Onslaught on Ms. Marvel while that lane itself is won by Onslaught turning Iron Man into 28 power. Cosmo offers protection from Enchantress (or Doctor Doom) ruining your mojo, and Ravonna Renslayer makes Professor X a potential game-winning play.
Without Echo, you’re in trouble here, but Nebula can be Nightcrawler, as can Jeff the Baby Land Shark. Medusa or Mister Fantastic are the additions. Ravonna Renslayer and Ms. Marvel are pivotal, but Iron Lad is fine as Jubilee.
Ika Anniture
Deck Thoughts:
Ika is my favorite new deck builder in Snap, and this is my favorite new deck this week.
There’s nothing super complicated here. The Annihilus package with The Hood and Sentry is one of the best in Snap. Black Bolt and Stature are a severely underrated package, as well. Surrounding these two are every tech card but Enchantress (Echo covers that) and, of course, the best card in the game: Ms. Marvel. The junk lets you ruin opposing Ms. Marvel plays if Echo doesn’t already do the job. Shadow King and Shang-Chi stop anything that gets too tall while Mobius M. Mobius and Scarlet Witch stop the greedier decks of the meta. This is play-dependent, but it’s a blast.
You need Annihilus, sorry, and Stature is a must too (but it is dropping to Series 3 in about a week and a half). MMM is irreplaceable, but Cosmo solves different problems. You need Echo, but Nico Minoru can be anything from Forge to Luke Cage. Same for Jeff, who’s just a general good card here.
Lamby Ronan
Deck Thoughts:
Lamby is the best player in the game, so we always talk about his decks. This may be called a Ronan deck, but the engine that makes it go is, you guessed it, Ms. Marvel. Well, that’s sort of a lie; it’s Zabu, but the deck dies miserably if it misses Zabu without Ms. Marvel‘s tempo.
This deck lives based on the options it has on Turn 5. Legion can steal games there, and Ronan can be huge (with Maximus on Turn 6 after Ronan the Accuser representing 10 power), but often the right play on Turn 5 is Leech. At only 3 power, Leech is a huge tempo hit on Turn 5 for a huge gain on Turn 6. Ms. Marvel‘s absurd strength makes that exchange far more palatable. The rest of the deck is just about laying down power, so that’s nice and simple.
Zabu and Ms. Marvel are musts. Iron Lad can be Enchantress or Super-Skrull. Spider-Ham could be any good 1-Cost – think Iceman or Nova. Gladiator‘s replacement is Polaris to clog a lane or Medusa for a better power-to-cost ratio. Legion is probably best replaced by Aero, although Vision is also good.
Sera is Back!
Sera Miracle decks have reclaimed their place atop the meta after far too long. We aren’t at all covering the Cozy Snap and Revis drama here, but if you want my take, it’s after the first deck in this video.
Woodward Sera Miracle
Deck Thoughts:
Our friend and guest on next week’s podcast Phil Woodward has the last and best of the old Sera Miracle lists.
Sera has become a top deck again, but the next version is all the rage. This one still has a crazy high Win Rate and outputs way more power than the other versions in most games.
That power is thanks to a last turn
…but it’s weak to Lockdown. This needs space to grow with
You need
Combat Miracle
Deck Thoughts:
Everyone knows the now infamous Revis deck, and this is two cards off of it – Jeff the Baby Land Shark instead of Lizard and Doctor Doom over Legion.
I’m pretty sure that Jeff is just better than Lizard for the deck. This is a Ms. Marvel list, so Jeff gives a crazy amount of flexibility to the list. Doctor Doom vs. Legion is a difficult call. Legion gives access to Shadow King and Maximus last turn after Sera, or a play of Shang-Chi or Enchantress or Ms. Marvel if both Zabu and Sera are in play, but Doctor Doom is simple, guaranteed power.
And simple, guaranteed power is the name of the game here. This doesn’t scale – it uses cards like Maximus, Gladiator, and Ms. Marvel to lay down points, then the rest of the deck is entirely designed to keep the opponent’s points off the board, whether that be proactively like Mobius M. Mobius or reactively like Shang-Chi and friends.
You need Zabu here, but Gladiator can be Medusa or Polaris. Jeff can be Lizard, obviously. Mobius is irreplaceable for mirrors, but Cosmo could be great as a tech piece. Ms. Marvel is huge, but you can try Super-Skrull.
Discard isn’t Dead!

Discard was the deck most negatively impacted by the America Chavez nerf, so most of the best builds use Black Knight now. Still, even good old Apocalypse Discard still works, even if it has evolved.
Parry Manilow Double Daken
Deck Thoughts:
Parry is an awesome and underrated Twitch Streamer and innovator of the double Daken Discard deck.
If you can get three Muramasa Shards from Daken, it goes to a minimum of 32 power, which is enough to win a lane in most games of Snap. This deck uses Arnim Zola to get those extra shards, and then it can discard them with
Enabling all of these plans is Ravonna Renslayer. It makes Morbius cost one, Dracula cost three, and Arnim Zola cost five. Those changes are huge in making the deck work, and Ravonna alone can be an early Snap condition. Of course, you can ignore all of that and just play classic Apocalypse Discard because that still wins, too.
You need Ravonna, Daken, and
Desmond Black Knight
Deck Thoughts:
Black Knight decks are very close to being solved at this point; they run Black Knight, Blade, Lady Sif, Ghost Rider, The Infinaut, and either Magneto or Giganto (sometimes both, like here). That’s a fairly standard package. What goes around it is what makes the deck.
Zabu is quickly becoming a fixture in these decks. Discounting the Ebony Blade, Dracula, and Ghost Rider is often enough – even without other hits. The final spots in this version are taken up by Armor for protection and Red Skull for another huge target.
Wait, there’s one more thing: Leech. This is a Leech meta, and Leech answers all the stuff that gives this deck trouble (except Mobius) since no Shang-Chi or Magneto move or other nonsense can get you. This is quite strong.
You need Black Knight and Zabu. The rest is Series 3.
Havok is Actually Good!

Havok was released a week ago, and, after the Viper nerf, it took a bit for the card to find its footing. It’s not a meta card, but a [2/8] is a good card, and that’s where Havok lands.
Quinee Midrange
Deck Thoughts:
Quinee Equinox is one of my favorite deck builders in Snap. She creates truly original decks and is an awesome human to boot.
Here, she cracks open the idea that Lockdown can be used as a tempo play – something to aim for when an opponent is going for late power spikes. For decks that play more fairly, she just goes over the top with powerful midrange cards like Ms. Marvel and the Darkhawk package.
This isn’t an easy deck to play. The placement of Echo is pivotal, and, in many games, so is saving Shadow King for the end of the game so cards like Blob don’t just go too big for you. When that falls in place, this can be dominant.
The key here (besides reading the opponent) is Ravonna Renslayer. Havok for one on Turn 4 or Turn 5 leading into a 4-Cost Professor X on Turn 5 is backbreaking. Iron Lad isn’t replaceable, either, because it’s a cheap way to accomplish many of the deck’s plans (hitting any card other than Korg can be game-warping). You also need Ms. Marvel and Zabu, sorry.
GetRekt Bounce
Deck Thoughts:
GetRekt is another top player who decided to try Havok in
It’s easy to throw priority and be safe from Shadow King or Shang-Chi here, but Alioth is more of a problem. This regularly puts 25 – 30 power in every lane, too, which is great – except that Blob exists right now and often goes way, way higher.
You need Havok and
LoopyMorph
Deck Thoughts:
Loopy Fist’s Morph deck is just a pure joy to play. It’s almost as much fun as it is to watch Loopy on YouTube or Twitch.
This is, like, the ultimate Ravonna Renslayer deck because it plays totally differently when it finds that card on Turn 3 or Turn 4. Havok here is to be used with Magik to be a [2/8] on Turn 7 while Leech neuters the opponent’s endgame. A cheap Iron Man and Mystique also go a long way towards winning games, and Ironheart is always good but is absolutely great with the effect doubled by the previous two cards. Morph is a nice potential power spike early, and it’s especially fun when you get their card before Leeching away when they’d like to use it. Hobgoblin adds disruption and pairs particularly well with Nebula to clog a lane – just be wary of Annihilus.
Nebula is good, but it can easily be replaced by anything from Sunspot to Nightcrawler. Havok can be Lizard or Maximus, though it makes me kinda sad. You need Ravonna.
