And while the price isn’t low and may require about 1.5–2 months of Gold saving, you’re getting nearly the highest possible return for your investment (only the regular Booster Packs, available every Saturday, are better – with 133% Progress Value and 1.1 Total Tokens per Gold).
So this deal, with its 126% Progress Value, looks pretty good. Now let’s see how it compares to other bundles, including those in the same price range.

Data from both the past year and the last 6 months – including data for bundles priced around 5,000 Gold – shows that Sir Hydration Robert sits noticeably above most other bundles and the overall average. In terms of the most important metric – Total Tokens per Gold – this bundle performs even better than it does in terms of Progress Value, all thanks to Credits that significantly boost the Total Tokens per Gold value. This lets the bundle pull far ahead of the pack, falling behind only two of the previously mentioned bundles and, of course, the Booster Packs.
So, the Sir Hydration bundle already looks very solid and can be recommended to a wide range of players. Now, let’s take a look at the scenario where you don’t have Hydra Bob and are hoping to get some extra value by picking up this bundle.
What if you don’t have Hydra Bob?
Since a Series 5 card doesn’t directly add Tokens, we’ll instead look at Progress Value and the number of Series 5 cards per 700 Gold.

You never really know when Hydra Bob might come in handy as he keeps popping up in the most unexpected places.

All in all, this bundle is extremely strong by the numbers and offers high value even if you already own Hydra Bob. But if you’re looking to get him as a Series 5 card through this bundle, the value skyrockets and it’ll be worth every bit of your Gold.
The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 stars instead of a full 5 is because Hydra Bob isn’t a strong meta card, and in certain metrics, the bundle falls slightly behind some similar past bundles, though it comes very close to a perfect score.
