Pool Two Discard Aggro – A Deck by Riwo

Today's Deck Highlight looks to finetune a pool one fan favourite deck - Discard! Starting the show with Apocalypse in Pool One, just how powerful can the deck get once we unlock Swarm in Pool Two?

Welcome to Community Deck Feature! – A series here at Marvel Snap Zone where, as often as I can, I’m going to dip my toes over into the Deck Database section, pull out something that I think is cool or will be useful to newer players, and showcase it in text and video for the entire Snap community to see!

If you’d like a chance to have your deck featured on Community Deck Feature, upload your decklists over in our Deck Builder or share your creations in the Marvel Snap Zone Discord!

Today’s decklist comes from Snap Zone User Riwo from our Community Deck Builder! – Discard has been a fan favourite since players got their hands on Apocalypse in Pool One, but just how powerful can the deck get once we unlock Swarm in Pool Two?

I LOVE Discard decks in Marvel Snap – I think finding the balance between building a deck that can remove the risk of losing your bad cards to discard and *still playing* enough good cards to win games to be a very fun puzzle. Riwo was chosen to leverage lots of cheap one-cost cards in order to make sure that Swarm and Apocalypse are usually the target of all your discard – a building choice I found very effective!

Angela really shines here, as she allows herself and your one-drops to usually lock up a location alone, while a 16-power Apocalypse or a pile of Swarms take care of securing the second one. America Chavez fits perfectly here too, giving your deck added consistency by slimming it down to a virtual eleven cards, and making sure you have a backup turn six play should you never find Apocalypse.

Discard is a blast, and it only gets more and more unique and powerful tools as it moves into Pool Three!
